10/14 New Puzzle Prize!! ~ Banker Lamp

OK, I have no idea how to post a picture, but I saw on another forum that there is a new prize for the crossword puzzles; it is NOT the --cough cough-- forum, as that one appears to be down for maintenance.

It is a type of desk lamp (yes, for the desks ?? we have, lol), that I refer to as a "bankers" lamp, with a green top.

Sorry I couldnt do better; maybe Flame can post a pic later on,  ;)


And BTW:  it was NOT Cindi-Lu who won the first one of these, hehe.

Aww.....no lamp for Krazy at all?  Boo hiss!  Yes dear Cindi was indeed second:  but that does not asssure a lamp, just ask me and flame we know; sometimes second place  = ZERO credits even!!!

Anyhow I am sure Flame will go "borrow" the said picture and bring it here for us to gawk  at!

Thank you for the update!

I borrowed a screen shot from VFKFF to post here, updated first post with pic.  It's called a Banker Lamp.




As far as Cindi not coming in first or first, to have the lamp shall I say...  :-X   yep that's about all I have to say.  lol   :laugh2:

Belle, the puzzle prizes are only given out for the WordMix or traditional Crossword puzzles.  These puzzles can be found under your "Menu" button, and then click on "Crossword Puzzle".   VFK places BOTH WordMix and Crossword Puzzles under the option of Crossword Puzzle at various times thoughout the day.  Below are the times for both (sometimes VFK puts them up a few minutes earlier or later, just an FYI):  ** Remember, only the 1st person to solve the puzzle first gets the prize, others solving it get a chance to spin the wheel to win. **  Prizes currently are NOT given out for either Sudoku or Word Search Puzzles.  Hope this helps?

Don't worry, I think many of us feel the same way.  :heat:    There just are not enough "play" hours in the day, to keep up with all of this!

Krazy, remember you can do these puzzles at your leisure.  The start times are basically just if you want to try and be the 1st to finish - therefore guaranteed a prize for 1st place finish.  So don't stress, I have done the puzzle before like 1:30 AM, that is when I won my lamp previously.  The spinning wheel is very random, so it does not matter when you complete these puzzles, for a chance to win.  Everyone has the same odds.

Ok, I hope I don't jinx this for my Mom, but she is soooooooooooooooo darn lucky.  Not only has she won the Stepped Wall and Window Wall (which I have none) she now has gone up and won the Banker's Lamp.  I spun first and got 250 credits and then it was her turn.  Well, at least, out of a gazillion tries I finally got a Water Pump from the maze, but no cart yet.  She has none of them though so I will probably give her mine.  LOL!

Ty for the help Astro, this was the first time we used the wheel and I like the idea.  Its like the mazes where everyone gets a chance at something, but I wish they didn't have a 0 on there.  Everyone should get something even if it is only 25 credits.  0 seems to harsh after doing all that work.
