New Citizen Level Items!

Hi SmallWorlds citizens. V2.0 is just around the corner, so here’s a special report on the awesome collection of Citizen Level items that’ll soon be available. In case you don’t remember me, I’m Johnny Wilde and you’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more from me with all the Gaming Arena action that’s going to be taking off in SmallWorlds after the V2.0 release!

These new items are all tied into your Citizen Levels – so rather than needing certain XP levels to be able to use them, you’ll need specific Citizen Levels, gained from earning Citizen Points. And all the Citizen Level items will be sold exclusively in their very own store, Sovereign Plaza.

The New Items

Now let’s check out some of the cool new items in Version 2.0! Here are just a couple of the skates and skateboards that will be available in Sovereign Plaza. Below each one, I’ve indicated the Citizen Levels (CL) you’ll need to use them.

Every item comes with its own speed and health attributes, so as well as looking cool as you travel around in-world, they’ll be really useful to you in the new Game Arenas. Walking around or shooting by on a pair of Rocket Powered Inline skates…Hmmm… I know which one I’d prefer!

Amazing New Weapons

As well as so many ways to go faster, Sovereign Plaza also has other cool items in stock. Some of them are pictured below. I’ve listed the Citizen Level you need to be able to use them (CL) as well as the item attributes. These are only some of the new items coming out with 2.0 - I’ve left some as a surprise. To see what the Gauntlet of Madness looks like, or the Whirlwind Staff, you’ll have to wait a few days for the release itself!

Firebolt Crossbow

A crossbow that shoots out deadly fire bolts.
CL10, fire-10, health-75

Fireball Bazooka

A bazooka that shoots out a deadly fire blast.
CL40, fire -20, health –135

Glue Gun

A gun that shoots out sticky glue.
CL10, shadow -10, speed -30, health –30


Toxic Waste Gun

A gun that shoots out toxic waste.
CL40, shadow -20, speed -60, health –60

Nitrogen Gun

A gun that sprays chilling nitrogen gas.
CL40, frost -20, speed -90, health –15

Citizen Points & Citizen Levels.. how does it all work?



It’s easy: you earn Citizen Points simply by inviting friends! For every 20 Citizen Points, you go up one Citizen Level. At left is the Leaderboard which will be displayed on the front page of the SmallWorlds Chronicle from V2.0, showing your Citizen Levels as well as those of your friends.

Here’s how you earn Citizen Points:

• Invite a friend from your Social Network (Facebook, MySpace, Bebo), and receive 1 Citizen Point instantly!
• When that friend installs SmallWorlds and comes into the world for the first time, you get 20 Citizen Points.
• If you invite a friend using our in-world email / postcard or the ‘Make a Friend’ option on the Avatar Editor, then when that friend enters SmallWorlds and verifies their email, you get 1 Citizen Point. When that friend gets to level 20 in any of the XP Paths (Gamer, Explorer, Artist, Social), you get 20 Citizen Points.

There’s a whole raft of fantastic benefits to be gained from growing your Citizen Levels. You’ll get more details on those soon, but they include a weekly payout in Gold for completing your Loyalty Challenge tasks! How much Gold you receive will depend on your Citizen Level.

Earning Citizen Points is easy. When your friends join you in SmallWorlds, you’ll get closer to earning enough Citizen Points to use those Rocket Boots, or perhaps get yourself that that Fireball Bazooka.

With the new “Groups” function coming with the V2.0 release, if you invite all your friends into SmallWorlds (and then they do the same!) it will be easy to get together a whole Hoverboard team! Or, just imagine a whole team on Rocket boots! Now that would be a force to be reckoned with.



Its been great to bring you this exciting Citizen Level information. I can tell you I’m totally raring to go for V2.0! I’m off now to spend some time in Facebook and Myspace inviting all my friends. When Sovereign Plaza opens next week I’ll be ready.

I like the look of that nitrogen gun.  I would love to get it as soon as its available, but it probably will want too much gold or credits.

But of course.   I see something I would actually like, I have the CL for it, all I needed to know was how much gold or tokens. 

I hope it won't be out of reach when they relabel them.

I hear you GF! My thoughts exactly.  Really do not want to spam friends to get Citizen Level Points.
