My Turn to Ask for Help UPDATE: We found a house!!

If someone is able to pick up an extra quest prize this weekend I would appreciate it as DH and I will be out of state House Hunting!  :yes!:

A few of you already know that we have been trying to work out a move from NY to NC for quite some time now.  DH was finally able to get a transfer within his company :wavet: and he starts down there on July 10.  So we are headed down together this Sat thru Thurs to house hunt and hopefully get that process started.  Then he will pack up what he can and go back the following week.  I will follow once we can close on a house and in the meantime will be packing, packing, packing!  :ahh: Except for this weekend, I plan to still get on VFK for the quests, but probably won't be able to take the time for any teleporter games and such.  I am willing to trade for anything I miss, if I have what you're looking for.

Also, you do know that you can just log in, start the quest, but do not complete it, and finish it whenever you want.
I know you may not be with a computer/internet access, so then its understandable.

Thank you so much!  Yep, I do know that--do it all the time--but not sure if I'll have internet access this trip; our laptop chose this time to take a dive.

I used to live just north of Wilmington--in Jacksonville.  My DH was stationed at Camp Lejeune and we stayed for a while after he got out.  We still ask ourselves why we came back up here!  This time we are headed to the Triad area, which consists of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point.  DH's office is located in an area where it would be convenient to live in/around any of those cities so we have a lot of ground to cover.  I also have an aunt & uncle in Winston-Salem, so I will have family nearby.

I'm back!  Thank you all for your offers of help.  I probably won't need to take all of you up on them but I would like that patio set so hopefully I can get together with someone soon to pick it up.

And.....We found a house!!!  Woot!  We put our signed offer in Tues and are now waiting to hear if it will be accepted.  Hope it all goes smoothly--extra prayers and pixie dust would be appreciated!


ETA: Astro was already way ahead of me--thanks for the patio set!!

Well, the seller turned down our initial offer so we are trying again with a higher one.  It's actually probably worth more than we offered anyway-the house is 52 years old but the whole thing was completely redone--new roof, windows, A/C, floors, electric, plumbing, etc--so it's almost like getting a new house.  Of course, we want to get it for as little as possible, and there is the issue of what the bank will appraise it at and be willing to lend us, which really worries me.  Lots of prayers and pixie dust would be appreciated!!
