They are allowing all players to have full unlimited access for free from now until Sept 19th.

So once my little fairy entered the Ballroom(was open to paying members only prior) in Havendish Square there is a pool/fountain  in middle of ballroom --- you can click and earn "Pixie Hollow Farewell Badge"

Well doesn't that just make the players happy as a lark...

I did not go there much once I had earned the badges that I could. After that it was just once in a while, but it seemed like there were always a lot of players there when I did go.

Just sad that Disney is closing these :(

It is sad that they are closing. I haven't played POTC or Pixie Hollow in a long time but when I did play I enjoyed them (especially POTC). I tried logging in to POTC to "say goodbye" but it said it didn't support my browser (Chrome). I'll probably pull up a different browser just to give them one last go.

I have to give VFK credit. I remember when they first started after VMK closed and everyone was nervous about getting involved in an online game again after that heartbreak. VFK said they had a business plan that would allow them to stay open for many years. To be honest, I never believed it because I didn't really know how they could sustain a game for a long period of time, especially just being a small little company. But here we are - celebrating the 5th annual Midsummer Night weekend! I know they can't stay open forever, but they've done much better than Disney on that front and I am grateful to them for that.
