1/4 HOST HUNT (ENDED)

Just signed in and got a pop up that a host hunt with Dragon is going on.  This isn't on the calendar, so no idea when it started or ends.  Would appear as though possibly not ALL events are going to be listed on the VFK Event Calendar.  Good Luck to All!

Astro: are you sure this wasn't a reminder from the calendar that there is a HOST Hunt scheduled to start soon?  I know that it starts 5 pm my time; I keep forgetting how many hours you are behind us....

I've been getting little reminder pop ups lately from the calendar; I am currently stuck at work and cant get on game to see what's happening.

Nope, positive -- I keep getting blasts on who won.

It's a Host Hunt with Dragon, and I heard the prize is snowflake hat -- asked ppl in the rooms.

OK...wow!  I hope this doesn't mean that the one for later is not gonna happen!  It's nice that they are doing surprise one's I guess, along with the planned ones, as long as the scheduled one still takes place.  GL Astro!

Well the one on the VFK Event Calendar isn't supposed to start until 5pm my time, and to go until 7pm.  I would assume it's still going to happen.  I'm waiting to see what the final blast says for this round.



ETA:  here's the final pop-up

There will be another Hunt in about 2 hours, according to the event calendar.  Also, the last pop-up confirmed that:

I'm not digging the scheduled AND surprise hunts.  I caught the tail end of this thing because I thought we'd only be getting SCHEDULED hunts/events from now on.  Nice.   :td:

Thanks Astro for posting!   :hug:

Came home from grocery shopping and I logged on to VFK after seeing Astro's post and was able to do a few rounds before it ended. No win at those few rounds, but will be ready to try at the later hunt.

We have now learned there will be scheduled events on calendar and events that are not there!
