Ok, I got a ? to ask.  I got Sunday's room and my Mom got Camp's room and we both rated them a ten so how come we don't get a judging pin if they ranked first and fourth?  I mean especially first place because Camp is ranked in the first spot.  Thanks!

I don't think the "Best Judge" awards are based on the score for one room.  I think it works something like this: you've rated 50 rooms; 100 other ppl have rated those same 50 rooms.  If what YOU rated those rooms comes within one point of the AVERAGE of what all the rest of the judges voted for those rooms, then you are a decent judge and you get the award.  Does that make any sense?

Well, I still LOVED Camp and Sunday's rooms so I am just happy they won and not some stupid couch room. 

Sunday, I even wrote down what you wrote for your room cause I write down the room I am looking at and it even made me lol and I thought the electric kite was a very good touch.  Mom thought the Sea Monster was cute.  Hahaha.  Good job and congrats on the win!

The Room Judging Pin, Special Furni and 5,000 credits will be awarded to the judges who are within 1 point of the room averages.



Sooooo, that means that unlike the last contest, everyone that judged gets nothing.  Last time, depending on how many rooms we judged we got 1, or up to 4 judging prizes.  (the cute little garden things - hose, shovel, wheelbarrow and water can)

So basically we do VFK Staff judging work for nothing.       Boo.

Yup Astro and that is another reason I don't even bother reading the rules or paying them any mind.  The other is they say something is against the rules like: All teleporters must not exit to another room., but they do and they don't care.  Names are put in descriptions and when you report the rooms with just a couch it falls on deaf ears.  I guess they don't have the heart to tell the person your room DOESN'T COUNT because it has no sand castle pieces in it what so ever, so let's make everyone not get a pin instead.  When I built my room, sick as a dog, I at least tried and at least tried to build something.  The least these people could do is put one sand castle piece in it like the garden contest with a vase of flowers in a restaurant.  LOL!

 Sorry for the rant, but not only are we doing VFK's work we get no reward from it cause the couch room people got to ruin it for everyone else.  I mean I didn't even put the other family members people in cause we didn't get a room done for them and thought its only fair if I didn't do the work I shouldn't get the prize for it.  Also I think they use crappy rooms on clones so they can vote and hopefully get their main room and vote high for it.  I know its a small chance, but it could still happen if they have tons of clones.

Sorry about rambling on there, but I had to let this pent up anger out.    I am just happy that the two rooms we voted for came in first and fourth.  I wish I got to see everyone else rooms too, but we never got them.

Rant on Krazy.  It's completely fine.  Trust me, I am just as ticked as you, and everyone else.  We all have various reasons why.  And we are completely entitled to our own personal opinions.

I just read on another forum that someone entered 5-6 clones.  And, this person did PLACE in the contest.  (and I quote:  "On a side note, I entered six very nice castles in this contest.")  Are you freaking kidding me?!  I don't give a rip if they were the most fantastic sandcastle rooms ever, and you and a flipping "idea" for every single one of them!!  Shame on you!            That is just completely wrong in my personal opinion, and I thank God that evidently my morals are better than that. 

This just takes away from every single one of all of us other players in the kingdom, of OUR rooms NOT being viewed!  Period, and nobody can tell me any differently.

Sorry, I am just totally disgusted in that.  Some things are better left unsaid, and I wish I had never even seen that comment about cloning.

Yeah, I'm right there with you guys.  In the end, nobody went against the rules...which makes it even worse.  VFK allows this to happen.  I noticed the clones who won...and I know who they belong to.  'Greed' is what it's called in English.  For some it's called 'attention'.  To me, it's called pathetic.  This is why I wouldn't have done a serious room if I DID have the time.  The clincher for me was the last racing competition, though.  I truly believed that VFK wouldn't award the SAME OUTFITS for the winners as they did last time.  They did.  Not only that, they also awarded some of the same pins from the first race.  What good is trying to win something...if 100 or more people will eventually have that prize you worked so hard for?  Blech on that.  The worse thing is the new racing pins...when added to the old ones...make your car go so fast that it's uncontrollable.  LOL.  Will they be releasing even MORE new pins for the next race...making our cars just a blur on our screens?  Blech again.

Like Astro said:  looks like some people have better morals than others.  Then again, looks like some people have NO morals at all.  I've seen people post and have heard people say that they will do ANYTHING to win.  It's one thing to be competitive.  It's another thing to 'game the system' to win.  Those with the most clones competing I guess will typically be seen in the winners circle.  Those people need to get a SERIOUS life if fame, fortune or glory is their goal...and morals be cast aside.  Winning at the expense of depriving others of a chance.  Pathetic. 

As far as the judging prizes:  the people who made the judging list will get prizes.  The rest of us get nothing.  Wow.  And what a special prize...that 85 other people also have.  LOL.  Makes it real special, huh?  Not.

No No No!  I wasn't trying to burst your bubble.  I was venting about VFK handing out SO MANY prizes lately, and those who obviously used lots of clones just to be able to judge and get a pin.  86 judging pins?  That's an awful lot.  To me, it's really a contest if there's ONE first place winner, ONE second place winner, etc.  Judging winners are different...but seriously...86?  It is a special pin (I was a bit overly harsh in my initial post, lol), but VFK...I feel...has diminished the 'specialness' by giving so many out. 

Hey...you know me.  I say what I feel.  I'm upset with VFK...not Fish.i or the awards.  It is a special pin, no doubt...and I'm uber-happy Fish.i got one!  Unfortunately, the people who use a LOT of clones to get the judging pins end up decreasing their specialness because VFK ends up having to give out so many.
