The day after our new Message Boards were released, the developer/artist team who created them noticed a comment in a forum thread.
SmallWorlds citizen Kymberly Thurston wrote the following:
"SW I would like to make a suggestion for this Electronic Ticker. We need a standing one for the islands. There are no walls to put either of the Electronic Tickers on, when u have an island.
Just a suggestion! Thank You"
Our team thought that was a fantastic idea, and immediately started work on creating a stand-up message board. We always aim to please and it's great when we can come up with such a fast response to what citizens want to see in-world.
The new Electronic Ticker Message Board is now available in Modern Living.
The amazing "Bright Lights" message board will give any space a touch of Vegas! It's especially useful for island owners as you can stand them up anywhere you like. You could warn visitors of the sharks in the oceans, invite them in for a swim ("Come on in, the waters fine!"), or suggest activities that they can do on the island.
Of course these new message boards are not limited to islands at all. They look great in indoor spaces as well.
It's all up to you, and these great message boards are so useful to speak to visitors to your space when you can't be there to talk to them directly.
Thanks Kymberly for such an awesome idea. We do listen, and we just love it when we can respond to a request so quickly!
