Ok.  So I've seen this thing on main street now that the trees have no leaves on them:



Looks to me like a sign or plaque of some sort with someones image on it leaning up against one of the light posts outside of the Gift Shoppe.  I tried zooming in and still am not sure.  Anyone else notice this?  :??:

If you look on the Victorian Map it is on there too.

Updated to add: I magnified it to 400% and it shows some sort of sky or color behind the head of the person too.  :hmmmm:

I see the bush, then lightpole bottom, then a sign (like they put (floor wet /\ kinda sign) maybe it says "specials" for the store...

Edit: Ok, I saw Krazy zoomed in more so I tried too. I still see ....nothing else - but then again I couldn't see that blue thing in corner of the Pool store either  :crazy: :rofl1:

I've seen that there for months.... and I thought it was one of Ma'am's customers that went a bit too far.....and landed in a tombstone in the street. :lolp:

I agree with Fun, looks like one of those A Frame "Sandwich Board" signs. I guess our little "people" can see what it says as we walk down the sidewalk...  :lolg:

Tombstone?  Still not convinced.  You must learn to channel the Force and ZOOM if you truly want to become a Jedi!!

After staring at it for hours until my eyes crossed and wouldn't stop tearing, I think that .It and Fun were right about the sign not being on both sides of the lamppost like this:

...which is what I originally thought, but is on the FAR side of the lamppost like this:

If this is correct, then I am seeing the tree branches and the base of the lamppost in front of the sign...which still oddly looks like the upper half of a colonial-looking man.  This makes it most likely that it is just a sidewalk display like others have said, with writing on either side of it (although why they would place it with one side facing the lightpost is beyond me).  Maybe we'll never really know the truth...left to ponder and try to discern what cryptic message the mysterious object by the lamppost is trying to deliver to us... :hmmmm: :hmmmm:

When I asked Vintage why it was there she just laughed and said she didn't know.  :hmmmm:  Hmmm, if even the staff don't know then I wonder why a Halloween tombstone is still on the map.  Maybe the NPC's are revolting and this poor soul was the lastest victim or maybe its a VFK ghost?  :lost:  :ahh:  LOL!  :lolg:

I'm sticking with lampost l l and then /\ sign  --- I think the sign got turned to face the lampost and the store front by Darth Vadar...or flame as a distraction for when he did the "show and tell" fairy with "no pants"  :moon: on Balta Street.  So that's my "story" and I'm sticking with it...    l l /\   :rofl1:
