OK, I want you all to ignore how sad this is and just get a mental picture here....

King and I were set to drop the kids off today at my mom's for a 2 night sleepover. It gives us time to finish any shopping and wrapping and them time with Grandma after being away on vacation. (Also gives King and I some time to ourselves after said vacation.  :lolg: ) We are getting ready to leave the house about 4-4:30pm EST and I hop on to check about party favors, realizing the ball ends at 5pm.

We take my laptop in the car, and while King loads the kids in and hooks up some electronic something or other for my mom I wait in the car....with the laptop...hooked into my mom's wireless network...sending all of our peeps to get party favor gift boxes.  :shy:

My name is Princess and I have a problem with party favors... :rofl1: :sur:

Wendy, can I tell you that while we were away, we were prepared to go down the block to another resort that had free internet access, and sit in the parking lot with our 2 laptops, just we could keep on top of things?  Of course when we got down to VA, we did learn that we could get access in our room for a small fee; and there I was up till 2 am making sure we got the latest mural panel, hehe. 

Yes, it is an addiction, thank you all for understanding...

 :lolg: :bighug: So glad to know we are not alone-hehe! The funny part is, it is getting darker earlier now, so here I was in the back lot area of my mom's new apartment, in the dark, in the car, on the computer.  :rofl1:

Her new apartment building is more like a small community - they all know each other and many of her neighbors already know us. However, there are some who would not recognize us since she has only been there about 2 months. I was waiting for a police officer to tap on the window.  :sur: Can you see me explaining how I have to get the Christmas Party Favors from the "virtual" Christmas Ball!  :sur: :rofl1:

Just adding that the other resort was owned by the same company...and that our resort told us that if we didn't want to pay, that we were allowed to drive next door to their 'sister' resort to access the 'net.  Didn't want anyone thinking we were scarfing 'net access or anything.  LOL
