This is getting ridiculous.  For the past couple days, the 'black screens' have become more frequent.  On 3 different computers all running at the same time, we've had black screens happen on all 3.  One computer is a different operating system and Flash version! 

I've already reported this once to VFK.  If you're getting the black screens also, please report it to VFK using the HELP button so they know it's not just me.

Tonight was the first time I ran into a black screen. My first one. Have no idea. But it sure is frustrating.

We're getting it at almost the same time using computers with Firefox.  Testing now to see whether it happens with IE.  So far, it looks like IE doesn't have the problem.  Weird.  On Firefox, I couldn't go to 2 rooms without the screen going black.

So do I, but I also have another problem that has been happening to me as well.  I sign my guy in and do my thing then sign out and sign my girl in.  When I sign my girl in my guy is still there in the room and I don't know why.  Has this happened to anyone else?

This just started happening to me tonight.  I've recently had some problems with spyware and I just figured it was from that.  Are you all having to sign out and back in or have you found a way around it to get the back screen to go away?

No idea what your problem is, Krazy :(  Report it using HELP, for sure.

Aurora, the only way around it we've found is to either refresh the character or log the character out and back in again :(

Ironically enough, the problem happened on all 3 of our computers around the same time tonight while using Firefox.  Out of curiosity, I had everyone switch to IE.  No more black screens!  These computers are using different versions of Windows, different versions of Firefox and IE, and different versions of Flash!  Not sure what the deal is.  IE worked fine for us tonight, but others had black screens with IE?  Sheesh.  Wonder if this is a bug that is happening because of them preparing for the cars?  Regardless, everyone needs to be reporting this problem to VFK providing as much detail about your system/software as possible...using the HELP button.  VFK needs to get this fixed.

Yeah I have no idea why its doing that and tonight isn't the first time it has happened.  I ran the hunt and then logged out.  I signed my girl in and when I ran the hunt I said I hope that isn't my guy standing there and sure enough it was.  Its very odd.

You used the "log off" from their Menu Button? Or you just closed your window?

Wondering if I should check me when I close window.

Knock on wood, no black screens for me so far. I use IE.

Wow.  It's not the browser apparently, so it must be VFK.  Since this appears to be a bug, it needs to be reported using the HELP button by all who experience it. 

Let's hope it's fixed quickly (not 'soon')  ;)

Haven't been on yet today, but we were getting black screens last night before closing using IE. After close, no more black screens. Funny thing is, I had 2 screens open on my laptop and one screen kept getting black screens on the map and garden and the other had no black screens at all. Puzzling... :??:

That is weird.  With us, if one tab got a black screen, the others would get one, too.  Most of the time it seemed to happen when trying to get to the map.  Hero was beside me on the other laptop, and I would get a black screen, then he would, too.  Switching to IE worked for us.  LOL.  No idea what happened.  Today was fine on both browsers.  No black screens at all.   :??: :??: :??: :??:

I usually just back out of the screen and not use the menu log off button.  It has happened many times to my guy but only once with the rest of the families people.  I hope my guy didn't get a bug.  :(

Well, we had black screens again tonight once things got busy in game when the epic quest was available. We still had the weird one screen would have BSOD (Black Screen of Death) and the other would not. I used the good screen to have the other character follow to locations. But, it certainly slowed me down. I usually run through hunts/quests in pairs, but not with BSOD. It seems to go away at less busy times, so we think this is a VFK issue. :hmmmm:
