In case anyone is wondering why their Loyalty (gems) won't advance today in SW.       Apparently, this is only affecting VIPs.  Non-VIPs are able to complete their Loyalty.

This must be very recent.  I was able this morning to run 2 non-VIPs, and 1 VIP and the jewels advanced.  Sorry to hear it's not working now.

from what I gather out of that HUGE thread ... this may have started to occur after Midnight SW time (I think?).

I can see how you got the 2 non-VIPs through (as it doesn't affect them - only VIP), and maybe you got the VIP through before SW did some tweaking?  Either way, that's awesome that you got through it!   

I'm bummed ... mine is stuck on the last task, as everyone else in the world, it would seem.  I really don't want to have to restart 3 days of missions.

We are well aware what gems people are on and based on Andrew's note you will be where you are required to be. In Andrew's comments, Loyalty Items means your gems, gold and if you are on the Diamond Challenge your reward for the month. Andrew stated in his post that the timing is soon. I am sure when it is completed we will make you all aware.

Just like you are automatically able to receive the rewards when you complete the mission, code will resolve the issue for those who fall into this issue.

From player posts it seems like the final third of the gem might be part of the issue.  I got stuck on day 3 of my diamond.  It is still not working, but I feel comfortable they will handle it

It seems to be taking longer than expected.  The progress on the gem has cleared.  I'm not worried.  Here is the latest for the official forum.:

Just a note to everyone. There was no definitive time. As the first post states, they are working on it and the fixed will be soon. Please be patient while to the Technical Team tends to this matter and resolves the issue.

It really stinks for the Mods over there.  They have posted updates, not to worry but people are whining like crazy.

So far no official update. 

I was able to "clap" today and the mission I had open completed.  Prizes (gold, tokens and goblet) did not transfer. 
I did not expect them to transfer in the normal route. 

My diamond gem is now 1/3 full as if I was just beginning the week.

SW Devs did state they knew where people stood before this happened--so I do still think things will work out.  Much like a transaction history when you earn and spend tokens--There is a mission completed history.  They must be able to extract data from there.   

I'll keep you posted and let you know if I read anything new.

I'm just wondering ... should we just leave well enough alone at this point (not complete the mission we needed to fill our gem holders)?  OR ... start doing 3 missions again before Monday?  I just don't know what to do.

Just logged in to SmallWorlds and was able to finish my loyalty mission!!!!  Woohoo!!!!!

Loyalty Challenge Bug

A bug where the final mission would not complete. We are currently working on a fix to reinstate the gems you have lost over the past 2-3 days. We should have this completed within the next 24 hours (we will make another sticky post when it's done).

Loyalty Issue Update:
My gems now appear correctly filled.
My account history shows the gold and tokens earned for completing my loyalty this week.
The Elixir of Life Goblet is in my inventory in the Misc category too.  (Finished the diamond this week.)

The "tech issue ticket"  is still open. Some users reported 100 less gold than expected.  They are looking in to it.

Okay, so I can't remember things anymore.  Do the players talking about not receiving 100 gold, have anything to do with loyalty missions?  Or is the gold just a "tacked on" item?

Yes, it has to do with loyalty.

Upon filling a gem, depending on CL, players receive a token and gold reward.  (and the prize if it is the diamond gem)

Some players that should have received 400 gold -received 300.
