Alien Pod

I just finished the space quest and I have the alien pod but I'm trying to figure out how to get the alien enchantment.  I figured when I put the pod in my room there would be something to click to open but there isn't.  Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?  Thank you

Refresh or log out and then back in.  ;)

Hmmm, I tried that and still nothing. :(  Thank you though.  I guess I'll try it again later when I shut the computer completely off.

wow.  Usually you put the pod in the room, then refresh (or re-login), the pod opens and the magic is in your FX tab.  Try it once more.  If it doesn't work, use the HELP button :)

LOL.  Last time I did that quest, all it took was a refresh.  24 hours wouldn't hurt though, I guess. :)

You must have had a quick 24 hour there Flame  :lolg:

I thought everyone had to wait 24 hours for the pod to open once it was placed in a room.

Yeah, on the 7th day after the quest first started, when you received the pod it wouldn't open until the next day.  Remember it would shake and everything - and there was like a red glow and an eye peaked out from the crack!  I remember thinking that was one of the coolest things VFK did - we had no idea what was going to come out of that pod!

Since that first day though, the pod hasn't required the 24 hour waiting period, just a refresh.

Actually my pod is open, or at least I think it is but there is still no magic under the fx tab.  I guess I'll have to try the help button.

Well after being off the game for awhile, I looked again and the alien enchantment is there.  Thanks all for the advice.
