10/28 NEW SCAVENGER HUNT!!!!! Prize: Paper Lantern - Green - Bats

OMG OMG!!!   There is a NEW scavenger hunt!! This time is a green paper lantern with bats.....

Vintage is on the map telling pple about it; it starts at the Opera house.  Good luck!!!

Sigh, .it did exactly ONE of the other hunt....   :(

What makes my upset is that they start these too late for the east coast. Most kids are in bed and many adults are closing down for the night to get a good night sleep for work. This is just insane. Why not just give us a scavenger hunt with 30 stops and call it even when they give us 3 gifts :)

True or even leave the old hunt up while doing the new one so people have time to do/finish it.  :madder:

My biggest gripe is STILL an almost complete lack of communication.  'Word of mouth' is ridiculous for a company to rely upon when important things happen regarding their business.  Yet...here we are.  Over a year later, and VFK STILL prefers to let the information 'trickle out' to the people who KNOW about forums like this one.  The other people are lost.  I'm still beside myself about the communication problem...and can't for the life of me figure out why they can't make a short blip the night/day before about any changes happening the next day.  The only thing I can think of is that VFK is 'flying by the seats of their pants'.  Stuff isn't ready until seconds/minutes before they actually release it.  Most other games don't function like this.  Things are ready on a schedule...and if it ends up NOT being ready, they make the public aware of it.  SURELY they knew how long they were going to have the last scavenger hunt up...and people should have been told when it was released that it would be available for 'X' number of days.  I can't believe that we are here over a year later...still dealing with incredibly poor communication.  Sigh.  EOR (end of rant).

Yup, agreed with everything, that everyone else has already stated.

I have a feeling that VFK wanted to release all of these different types of lanterns (or other items/clothing for that matter) for us, and literally they are running out of time (with Halloween only 2 days away) -- basically inundating us with so much at once. 

While I appreciate all the new and exciting items VFK is giving us .. nobody can possibly enjoy them all, if we are not given ample time to EARN or BUY those fantastic items sadly.  :(

I agree with the communication! At least they can do a blast and announce that the new hunt is starting and old one is going to end so people WILL be aware of it! A blast does not take more than a few minutes than have Vintage constantly repeating on the map that a new hunt has started. Saves, time, energy and lots of player stress!

LOL.  I was just telling this to .It last night.  So busy trying to GET all the items...that I haven't had time to LOOK at or TRY ON stuff!  Sheesh...I still need to buy member costumes for .It!  :sos:

Also...for those not keeping track...they have released 2 of each of the colored hanging lanterns...except the purple color.  I anticipate that will come out VERY soon if they're going to release another version of that color lantern.  Just an FYI. :sur:

Agreed with all above ^, and was just thinking that same about another purple lantern possibly soon.  I don't think we have seen the green pumpkin on the splash page yet either?  Communication is KEY to anything in life.  It is just upsetting that the ideas are wonderful and the items are flowing, but the customer service aspect is lacking (at least in the communication area).  It does seem like it would be easy/fast enough to send a quick message when new things are heading in/out.  Even a weekly or every few days update on the homepage of things/events to look for would be appreciated if they are unsure of exact times.  That said-I do enjoy VFK, am amazed by some of the items they have come up with and the creativity, and am grateful to have a place similiar to VMK with friends old and new.   
It really does seem like nobody is having much time to enjoy/play with/build with all the new items.  Maybe we will have to have a Halloween in May along with Christmas in July? ;)  Hugs to all during this busy time.
