Using Leggos in VFK
« on: September 14, 2009, 07:52 PM »

Was just at D23 for 4+ days....Magically AMAZING~
But we worked on this for Leggos and Disney has these new products coming out
question: I have asked my kids and tried myself to use our in game leggos ...they do NOT seem to function the same as in real life...BUT I LOVE the idea of this artist and his Light Bulb moment....
anyway it is interesting what people working together can make....
would be really cool to incorporate this idea into our kingdom?

(Mods: Hope this Outside LINK is ok)

Its cool to see the murals there all built out of Leggos.  I like the Leggo Shop in Downtown Disney and love seeing the creations there too.

Thanks for the link Fire!  :2thunbs:

Wow, Gypsy, I bet you had  FANTASTIC time at D23! Thanks for the link, simply amazing! Our son is into creating "sprites" from different video games using pixels. He really enjoyed watching, as this mural process is very similar to art created by breaking things down into pixels.

We are sooo excited about the many other announcements they made at D23 also. The new Fantasyland at WDW is going to be beyond words. Also, a National Treasure 3 and I could go on and on!  :dance2:

As for the Legos in game, I find it easiest to use the 1x1 blocks. The bigger blocks don't seem to line up quite right.

Thanks again for the link - we really enjoyed it here!

Wow, that was really cool!  Thanks for sharing! What a neat concept to have the guests participate in making the mural.  It would be awesome if that could somehow be incorporated into a VFK project with our in-game legos!
