SmallWorlds  August is the month for Leo the Lion to come and strut his ‘King of the Jungle’ stuff! But don’t try and be the only king of this domain, that's no fun! Grab some friends and create your very own pride - right here on SmallWorlds!

Lions live for around 10–14 years in the wild but they live a good deal longer in captivity; some living more than 20 years. In the wild, males seldom live longer than ten years mainly due to fights with rivals.

We’ve been looking closely at the look on Leo’s face and we just can’t imagine this particular golden Lion to be much of a fighter. With that snuggly mane and pussy cat smile, we think he’s far more friend than anyone's foe!
