Resurrecting this thread.  The items we were promised and that are required have still not been awarded...and it's over 3.5 months now since the competition ended.  Really.  We need a pin (should have been made by now), 500 credits and a 'support pack' (already made).  So why did some people get prizes and some didn't?  We're talking about only a handful of people here that have been PATIENTLY waiting (almost 4 months is the patience of a saint...)...and we get no answers other than "the awards are still being given out".  Uh huh...  This will also be a topic in my phone call this week to VFK.  If they didn't have prizes ready for the competition, it shouldn't have been held until they DID have prizes ready to be awarded to the winners.  ALL the winners.  People will have forgotten about the ride competition by the time the 'lesser' prizes have been awarded...

Redoagain never got anything but his shirt. He has sent numerous help with no response.

What gives?

I can many understand the pin but not really. But how hard is it to put in a ride package.

Bet I knwo what happened. The dog ate there winners list.

Oh someones 3 year push the wrong button and deleted the list. Could happen.

But how difficult would it be to track some threads and find the winners list posted.

The ride competition did me in.

I have not be interested in VFK since then. I have gone through the motions.

It was not winning it was the way they closed the rooms, except for people that had already won.

Everyone I could see was on the winners list. The first day.

That was and is my pet peeve. So Redoagain not geting what he was promised will not change my feelings.

Customer retention.  AT LEAST please the paying customers (which keep VFK alive, I might add) so they want to CONTINUE to pay.  Hello? 

I pay to play.  I help keep VFK in existence.  I think they should at least do what they say they will do.  Yeah...everyone knows they're busy.  Everyone knows they are planning bigger and better things.  That's all well and good...but don't alienate your current customer base.  And if there's a problem, THEN TELL US.  Don't just leave us hanging.  Sheesh...end of rant.

Ok.  Talked to Gail yesterday (she's the nicest person) and she wasn't aware the awards weren't all handed out and agreed they should have been.  She is going to investigate to get it taken care of.

LOL.  Scary thought...

Disco:  no problem :)  I was just glad to be able to get through.  Thank God the kids are back in school...frees up the phone lines a bit ;)  I had about a million more questions, but Gail is so nice I hated to take more time from her than I felt was necessary.

I'm not really up on everyone who is on NOBS, so if someone can make a list of who is affected here, we can contact those people and 'X' them off as they post on the other board.  In total, 40 people are affected by this.  That does not take into consideration the "Developers Choice Award"...which I still have no idea what is going on with that.

Maybe a separate thread should be started for this with the NOBS players listed?

Wow...just received a message from the other board.  I will paraphrase it:

VFK checked the program that was awarding the gifts. To their surprise, the program never completed the awards.  They are working on it right now, and everyone should have their awards by tomorrow.

I edited this post about 10 times now. 

I will leave it alone like this.  Anyone that has been following this...or who was affected by this...can form their own opinion as to how it was handled.

I'm speechless.

I believe everyone that is a member at VFKFF received an email message from Mouse, she talked to Gail herself.  I received it also (although just read it now, before signing on here).

Wow and Huh ... is all I can say.  Especially since many have been reporting the problem to VFK about not receiving their prizes for how long now   :??:
