Hi Belle! I truly don't know if I received the ride pack since I had a bunch of spring ride parts already in my inventory. I haven't seen a separate Honorable Mention pin either. Gosh, I'm no help!

Hi bell! Yeah, I brought this up in another thread somewhere here yesterday (yesterday is a blur to me now lol).

No, I haven't received my 'honorable mention' pin, nor have I received the prizes. Did send a HELP message yesterday asking what's up...no response yet.

Yeah, Honorable Mention is supposed to get a pin. I still haven't received mine...nor the ride pack...nor the credits. It doesn't affect everyone, since from what I understand, winners higher up (1st/2nd/3rd/etc.) got their items almost right away...pins, necklaces, ride packs, rooms, etc. Not sure why they're so far behind on awarding the prizes for Honorable Mention.

Maybe they take vacations during this time? Dunno.

Noticed people....elsewhere on the internet....also mentioning not being able to get through on the phone lately.

I've got some bizarre messages sometimes:

"this mailbox is full"
"end of tape...please enter security code"

There were a few times when it rang forever without any message at all. If it's vacations, that's cool. Otherwise, they need to hire another person to man the phone lines...even though it would be much easier to limit those people who like to talk for hours on end, so that others with REAL problems get attention. Maybe they should have a special line for VIP/paying members? That would rock...

She also said that same thing a month or so ago concerning the bogus 'computer awards'. Why the wait for the people who placed less than 3rd or 4th place? Makes no sense...at all.

Redoagian still missing rides pieces and honorable mention pin. He has sent numerous help requests yet to get an answer. And that is nothing new. They are coming out with great stuff too bad they are gettign worse on customer service. Renewal is coming up think they are getting nervous. Since they have yet to send any real free stuff. Well I chose not to get it did not want to pay the extra international shipping of $30.00 US glad I did that.

Or I would be so peeved by now.

Not sure if I will be renewing VIP just does not seem worth it to me. Ever since the ride competition and the big mess ups there. And of course the 50.00 US I paid for monthly I am still really not happy with that.!!! Only go on for quests now. I was so keen but not anymoer just can not get into it. But they do have great stuff now. But can not seem to put any heart into it.

So I doubt they will be getting anymore money from me.

Resurrecting this thread. The items we were promised and that are required have still not been awarded...and it's over 3.5 months now since the competition ended. Really. We need a pin (should have been made by now), 500 credits and a 'support pack' (already made). So why did some people get prizes and some didn't? We're talking about only a handful of people here that have been PATIENTLY waiting (almost 4 months is the patience of a saint...)...and we get no answers other than "the awards are still being given out". Uh huh... This will also be a topic in my phone call this week to VFK. If they didn't have prizes ready for the competition, it shouldn't have been held until they DID have prizes ready to be awarded to the winners. ALL the winners. People will have forgotten about the ride competition by the time the 'lesser' prizes have been awarded...

I can many understand the pin but not really. But how hard is it to put in a ride package.

Bet I knwo what happened. The dog ate there winners list.

Oh someones 3 year push the wrong button and deleted the list. Could happen.

But how difficult would it be to track some threads and find the winners list posted.

The ride competition did me in.

I have not be interested in VFK since then. I have gone through the motions.

It was not winning it was the way they closed the rooms, except for people that had already won.

Everyone I could see was on the winners list. The first day.

That was and is my pet peeve. So Redoagain not geting what he was promised will not change my feelings.

Customer retention. AT LEAST please the paying customers (which keep VFK alive, I might add) so they want to CONTINUE to pay. Hello?

I pay to play. I help keep VFK in existence. I think they should at least do what they say they will do. Yeah...everyone knows they're busy. Everyone knows they are planning bigger and better things. That's all well and good...but don't alienate your current customer base. And if there's a problem, THEN TELL US. Don't just leave us hanging. Sheesh...end of rant.

VFK checked the program that was awarding the gifts. To their surprise, the program never completed the awards. They are working on it right now, and everyone should have their awards by tomorrow.

I believe everyone that is a member at VFKFF received an email message from Mouse, she talked to Gail herself. I received it also (although just read it now, before signing on here).

Wow and Huh ... is all I can say. Especially since many have been reporting the problem to VFK about not receiving their prizes for how long now

In answer to your question. Yes, I agree with your list above. We asked for NoBS Members to sign up for the VFK Ride Competition, based on Princess' original thread here:

So by matching the winners list to that thread, I agree. Problem is I'm not quite sure if they are all ACTIVE Members or Members period, at VFKFF to post for themselves.

I guess it would be best to either post on their behalf, or have them contact VFK themselves, about any missing prizes due.

In answer to your question. Yes, I agree with your list above. We asked for NoBS Members to sign up for the VFK Ride Competition, based on Princess' original thread here:

So by matching the winners list to that thread, I agree. Problem is I'm not quite sure if they are all ACTIVE Members or Members period, at VFKFF to post for themselves.

I guess it would be best to either post on their behalf, or have them contact VFK themselves, about any missing prizes due.

Very cool. Unfortunately, Mouse posted the following about posting on others behalf: "Please do not list what other people did not receive." So...I guess those people who are not members over there need to contact VFK, or sign up over there to post.

I was just gonna say that I received my 20 rock support pieces. I don't know if I received the 500 credits or not. I have close to half a million on Flame...and I have no idea how many credits exactly I had earlier. Another person said they got their 500 credits, so I'll ditto that.

Flamanar has his pin now, too. Flame now has all that was promised and required from VFK.

The ride pack is really just 20 separate rock support pieces, Belle. If you got them, you'll see them in your inventory. If not, send a help report ASAP.

Did the "Developers Choice Awards" "AI Facilities Analysis Engine" program ever finish running? Last list of winners we saw said that the program was still running and selecting more winners. Did THAT program ever finish? Is there a final list of winners of that award?...or did they just give awards to the people who were on the list way-back-when? Hmm.

If you participated, you should have received a green flag pin and a green t-shirt. And, a red flag that would have been placed in your room from being judged.

Remember, there was a deadline for entering also. Make sure you entered before the deadline. If everything seems in order, I would again contact VFK for not getting those items listed above. Hope that helps, and good luck!

So glad we didn't remain -cough-'patient'-cough- as was recommended time and again by others. If that were the case, we would never have received our awards...because the pooter kept telling them the prizes were all awarded. It was constant pressure that got the job done. Squeaky wheels do work...and there is ALWAYS a limit to 'patience'.

Flamanar...glad that fiasco is over...
