As for the Scavenger hunt, you do not need the map. Just walk upto the Livery and start the Hunt with the grandfatherclock.

Last night was Surfer's first night back. She is still lost from missing so much, so she possibly could not help, but could had Enigma come. Please, if you also see me again, friend and if need help, I am here.

I did manage to run in to Flame, Krazy, Astro and Disco when I was on the map.   

Oooo Happy, I didn't know that was "No Toolbar Happy" last night!     Sorry!!

Hope the problem gets solved for you soon.  Have you tried doing a right click over the screen to see if any options come up??

Well, when I right click I see the release of Adobe and a "settings" option.  Both are not related to VFK.

I did try IE to get through todays hunt so as not to miss this one.  My bug there is no shopping and lots of the hourglass lag.  (Which is usually what I see before crashing.) 

Guess I will just have to wait it out.

I still cannot get the Action Button to work when using Firefox.
I really do not like using IE it has too many issues for me.

OK Happy, King talked to Vintage tonight about your issue. She said to try updating to Flash 10 and that might fix your problem. She said they have noticed that Flash 10 works better on some machines while Flash 9 on others. Even within their office, they use 10 on some and 9 on others. She said to let her know if that does anything to fix the problem.

I use Firefox for PH and Flash 10 there.  I still use IE with Flash 9 for VFK.  Not sure how that happens, but for me it works.  Because I can't even log into PH when using IE, because Flash isn't updated there.

That might be a workaround for you too?

Just a thought that if you wanted to start the epic quest, you can do that by click on the Castle Gate. I know you really can't do the whole quest without the map to navigate by, but you could at least get it started (which is always a good idea with vfk quests, though an epic quest will probably stay).

I've been using IE and dealing with the crashes.  On the scavenger hunt I crashed once so it wasn't too bad.  Having the spoilers helped a lot.

Souper ran in to Vintage.  Actually, she came right up to me in the Crossroads.  I explained my brower issues to her and she said she would let the developers know about it. 

I did tell her that I was not going to change my flash version for just this one application.  I really do fear screwing up other programs that wre used more often.  Although I did not get in to the pc specs, I did mention that I can not run IE without a crash (usually)during each VFK session. 

I think I know why the IE issue frustratesso much.  I can run 2 forums, SW game and webkinz game, and email at the same time with out crashing---but can not run just VFK without a crash.  And some of you know the resources SW takes on a pc. 

Side note:  I let her know that souper did get the pin for Memorial Day when she signed in.

Just a mini update.  My Firefox screen still looks the same.  At times if I click the "sweet spot" I am able to view my inventory, get to the map,view friend list,  etc.  So the options are there, just invisible. 

I'd give a lot to have that darn map option easily accessible.  IE is not my friend in VFK.
