Hey, y'all...
I made it home...
Chris...had to laugh...
Where's my sense of adventure?
ok. Actually, I was too damn tired to go have a spa treatment. I really wanted to though...since they don't use ANY drapes or towels or anything like that in Europe...I was super curious to see what it would be like!
(Next time!...when I'm awake...lol).
OK...papa...had some Warsteiner beer for you. It was good! But the best beer was in Prague! I just got in last night, so I'll have to get all the names for you (still need to get everything unpacked, and I have notes all over the place). One is called Staropramen, one is Urquell off the top of my head. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I liked their beer. In fact, I had to have some at the airport before we got on the plane.
Also had an appertif called Becherovka (in fact, we bought a bottle!) made from 34 herbs and it's idk 20% alcohol I think. We did shots of it at this old tavern we went to with our new friends we met on the train from Berlin to Prague. As a side note, they still sell Absinthe in Prague. I'm too chicken to try that stuff. NO WAY! Anyway, for the beer...go to Prague.
Oh, and the coolest place we went...with our new friends...we sat outside and shared a bottle of Czech wine under the Charles bridge next to the river just down from an old mill. It was lit only by candlelight. We joked that there should be gypsies there or trolls or something. It was super cool. I'll have to post pics of it...there's just no way to describe it properly.
all for now, Kit
p.s. Our second bag did finally show up in the late afternoon! yay!
