2-12-09: Gift Giving OPTION from NEW Gift Shoppe

There is an option to give gifts.  Cost is 100 credits for the gift box, wrapping and delivery.  Just click on the stacks of presents in the new Gift Shoppe (See Red's diagram below on where to click, depending on what gift wrapping you wish). 

Gift Wrapping choices are:

Extra Extra Small Red Box
Small Red Box
Extra Small Red Box
Large Red Box
Medium Red Box

Medium White Box
Large White Box
Extra Extra Small White Box
Extra Small White Box. 


You'll get a pop up like the one seen below, and it walks you through gift giving.  You are able to put a message on the gift as well.

Things to note: 

The gifts need to come from your own inventory.

You must have the friend on your friend list, so you can choose them.  (Under Gift Recipient, is where you would choose a friend from your friend list.  It lists all your friends from your friend list and you just click on one.)

Only able to gift 1 Item, per Gift Box.

you can click on the white or the red packages, packages marked in green circle on pics.
the packages available to give are small white, large white, small red and large red.

Thanks so much for the update Red!  :thumb:   I was clicking various gift boxes in there, and missed those.  Updating my first post to reflect these other gifts as well.

I just found some more options for gift giving boxes.   :doh:    All these boxes are going to drive me nuts!

Can we only send 1 gift per box? I tried to send 2 items in 1 gift box and it looks like it put one of the two items back into my inventory...  :??:  I tried to do this more than 1 time...

Yes, my experience has been the same.  I tried to gift more than 1 item, and it looks like it only took the last item I placed for the gift.  It threw the 1st item I chose, back into my inventory.

Looks like we can only gift 1 item, per gift box.

Thank you so much Astro and delicious for all of your work to explain this process. What a fantastic idea! This is the first time I have had the strength to get on the computer in a week and was so excited to see this new feature! I have so many things to gift to friends but have been unable to meet up in game to trade - now I can send the items as gifts. Not to mention what a great way to just spread some love to your friends. SOOOO excited about this new gift option!  :wavet: :yes!: :thumb:

I could not agree with everyone more ~ hope hope hope this option STAYS!  Good to hear from you Princess!   :bighug:

It's sometimes difficult to meet up in game, so I am thrilled to have this option available for this reason too!  Yay!   :yes!:

Updating first post to reflect that we can only currently give 1 item, per gift box.  If anyone notices if by chance this changes at any point (to being able to gift more items per box), please post and let us all know.  Thanks!   :hug:
