I'm not sure if anyone was able to get into Host Harmony's room tonight. I know at one point I simply gave up and hopped off to do some things here. I thought I'd give a brief overview of my experience with the host event tonight...
Initially it seemed that everyone was in and out of single user mode. I continued to get the disconnect message or simply just lose chat and friends off and on through most of the evening. Around 6:15 or so, this message popped up...
The Host tab remained empty or kept defaulting back to the popular room list for a bit and then this message came up...
Host Harmony's game was a race of sorts, here is the description...
This time around, instead of being stuck in an empty instance, if the room was full at 15/15, you were bounced to the Victorian Crossroads. Legend and Enigma, both developers I believe were stationed at the Crossroads talking to folks. Legend did say that they were expecting to have some sort of queue for the next host event. The closest I got to Harmony's room was a laggy look at the empty room instance...
I did see many upset that they had tied or won and had been booted without a prize. I do not think this is Harmony's fault, however. King and I have found that there are still cases where we see people in different positions in the same room at the same time. It can be on two different computers or two screens on the same computer. It is better than in the beginning, but it may have caused some problems with the host game tonight. If Harmony was seeing something different than the player was seeing, then it may have caused confusion. I did try to explain this to a few players and tried to find Legend again to tell her what was happening, but could not find her again. It did seem to be less chaotic with a Host tab, but a queue would be a great thing! Hugs to everyone!
