When I first logged in, shortly after 8,the website was not changed.  Around 8:30 EST the web site was updated.  It looks a lot better.  There is now a delta spash screen.

August 29, 2008

Friday, August 29th marks the 100th day of our Virtual Family Kingdom online world. This 100th day commences Celebration Weekend, a four day event (including Labor Day) which ushers in amazing changes. Over the past few weeks, all our developers, graphic artists, researchers and staff have been preparing for this weekend and we are finally ready.

Throughout every day this weekend we will be adding exciting new things into our world almost every hour so you won’t want to miss a minute.

Here are the new things which will be added during our Celegration Weekend!

Note: Those in the list with a check mark (smilie face) have already been added!


   New Site Layout
  100 Day Celebration Pin when you login on Friday
  Those who have pre-registered will be automatically assigned their beta level
  Delta begins Friday as an limited open beta, so pre-registration is no longer required!
  New Hair Styles
    We have just added an exciting new hair style for the girls that comes in 12 great colors, and Perfect Pink!
    There is also a new hair style for the boys, and it also comes in 12 new colors.
    More to come soon!

Nice find Happy!   But I for one, am not holding my breath anymore.  Will be interesting to see what we have/have not gotten by EOD Labor Day.

Thanks for the update Happy! I am very excited to see all that they have planned. To be honest, I will be happy to just be able to change our facial features and skin color. The other things will be icing on the cake to me! Happy Friday Everyone!

Another update to the first post here.  They added the info of the Merlin teleporters onto their list.

I don't know about anyone else, but seems they are adding new "smaller" stuff to the list, so they might not "have time" to deliver the really big ticket items.. 

But what I wish they would really add, rather than all these items, is the ability to wave, sit anywhere, and dare I be so bold.. dance, run or jump.

Only time will tell.  I do give them some credit for making sure each "item" rolled out works before adding another.

The weekend is over, I have put the last smilie up on the first post (for the stable).. and yet again we are left with unfulfilled promises.

Yes a lot came out, but they, IMHO, were the small things.  The oldest thing they haven't given us was the ability to sit anywhere.. I don't care for the blue furniture.  Granted they never said we would get waving or dancing.. but they seem pretty basic to a character.

The next oldest was the horse, with the ability to sit on it.. and here we just had a second notice it was coming, yet never did.

Now we have even more to add to an already pretty large list of items promised, but not delivered.

I'll grant you they do appear to be trying.. but PLEASE STOP the promising.. it is the lack of coming across with those items that causes me to not like the game, more and more.   How about just trying to get stuff ready and surprising us with it?  Instead of continuing to promise what you can't deliver when you say you will.  It would relieve so much frustration over anticipation, and then disappointment.
