What I love about these bugs are the two sides to the story. You two were seeing furniture in the street and the room owner saw you two crashing her game room!
This reminds me of a funny story that happened to a friend of mine in college. I'll try to tell it so it makes sense...
My friend, Elaine, was taking the Greyhound back to OSU from her home town after Spring Break. Before boarding the bus, she got herself a KitKat bar from a vending machine. She grabbed a seat next to a woman who seemed friendly enough, although the two didn't really speak. Elaine put headphones on and the woman began to read. About halfway through the bus ride, Elaine notices that the woman has opened
her Kitkat bar and has proceeded to break off a piece and eat it. My friend is one of those very ultra polite people who is also very quiet and hates conflict.. So, without saying a word, Elaine proceeded to break off a piece of her KitKat and eat it. The woman now gives her a dirty look and breaks off another piece of the candy bar and eats it. Elaine, furious by now, takes the last piece of chocolate and crumples the wrapper. All of this happening with no words exchanged. The woman's stop came before my friend's and she got off the bus without saying a word. During this short stop, my friend Elaine got into her purse to get a tissue when she saw...the KitKat bar she had purchased at the start of her trip. She had placed it in her purse and not realized it, so the candy bar in question DID belong to the woman sitting next to her! Only, by now this stranger was long gone and probably telling her friends and family of this rude young lady on the bus eating her chocolate bar!
One of my favorite stories EVER! Poor Elaine, we were constantly leaving Kitkat bars in her mailbox from that day on!
