What is the Child's Board

Ok I have to ask what the story is behind this. I heard it mentioned to go check out this board for spoilers. Ok so why is it titled child's board. I missed the memo somehow :lolg:

I think it is because a board like many other things is structured like a tree and in a tree, a node can have node(s) called child node(s), the node that has child node(s) is called parent node of the child node(s), so it is the same with board except that they are called child board and parent board (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=205)

Very indepth defination so can I have it in easy to understand child english :) are nodes the cirlces.

That is the reason that seems the most logical for me but I am a CS and I think as a CS
