Floating Gift Prize

Earlier today I was writing in a profile and this floating box sailed across the screen.



I clicked it.  Next thing I know an enchanted wooden trunk was placed in my inventory.  How often does something like this happen?

I got that happened once, it took me a few days to understand I needed to click on it  :rofl3:

It happens at random times. You could get one every day, or never get one at all. Usually there are low-end pieces of furniture in them, and it's better to just sell them in the marketplace. But about 20% of the time, there is something worth around 1500g in it. So, it's really up to you. I'm a gambler and always open it, then always kick myself and say "Should have sold it!" lol

Right now I am  :rofl1:.  I honestly thought the "enchanted wooded trunk" was a piece of furniture for my guest room.  :rofl1: :rofl1: :rofl1: I just took the chance and opened it.  The actual prize was a retro telephone. 

Hopefully everyone will see trunks floating around soon.

Woot Happy! I was getting some gold on King's character last week and clicked on the box.
He got a grass skirt!  :rofl1: All I could think of was the scene in "South Pacific" where the men are dressed in grass skirts and coconuts singing! :dle: :dle2:

Woot, Congrats!   :trophy:

It looks like you have the gold box, not the wooden box. When you click it, it opens and reveals a prize. Here is a link to the list of possible items found in the box according to tektek.org.   

I'd check the marketplace prices for the item you hope to receive.  Then compare it to the selling price of the unopened box.  It may be possible for you to sell the unopened box in the marketplace and use the proceeds to get what you really want.

I just had to open the trunk and my prize was a Grizzly Bear Rug.  It looks like the one from VMK.  :love:
