Congrats to our top three!  Now that I understand how this works, I will have to do a better job of picking drivers for the next race.  I mostly picked drivers whose names I knew, or who I thought was cute, or in the case of Dario Franchitti, simply because Ant doesn't like him.    (and he's cute  )

It was fun to look at who everyone had picked.  I think Dale Jr. was the most popular among us all. 

I'm looking forward to seeing if we can move our team up in the ranks!   

Ant, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think anyone who would like to join us can still do so?  We've got a good team going and the more the merrier!

Don't worry Kat, it's all about luck anyway. We knew a lady who bet on the horses and won a lot and she would only bet on gray horses.

Pay no attention to Ant, I like Dario too, a Scotsman with an Italian name in an American sport!!

Is Dale Jarret done now?  I thought this race was supposed to be his last, but he was listed as NE on this one.  I'm not sure what that stands for.

NE means not entered, He can continue to race if he wishes and has a team that needs him but for all intended purposes he has retired from racing I think Bristol was his last or his first he sat out.

And as far as Dario goes, well, what can I say? His wife is gorgeous, (Ashley Judd) so obviously he has great taste in women, and as long as he stays out of the way of my drivers, he is ok in my book.  But papaduck has the right idea Kat, never listen to me. I know nothing, rofl.

This was fun and made me forget my vmk ban blues for a while. I can't wait for next week's race. Woot!

Danica toyed with the idea of racing NASCAR either last year or the year before. I am not sure I am for the idea of women in NASCAR. I just love it when they say, "gentlemen, start your engines". And if a lady was racing, that would just mess that whole thing up.

A few years back there was a lady in NASCAR that I remember, Shawna Robinson. It turns out that there have actually been about 14 ladies that have raced in NASCAR over the years. Janet Guthrie was in the most races, 33, back in 1976 -1980. Idk, Danica is too pretty to be a NASCAR driver, lol, she might break a nail. ROFL, how sexist do I sound right now?

Some tips for some of you that have not played the fantasy racing game.

Try not to pick the same drivers every week, you can only use a driver I think 8 or 9 times per year. Each week you have to pick 2 A drivers, 4 B drivers, and 2 C drivers. You get extra points if any of these qualify in 1st through 4th places. Now after they qualify you go back and pick only 1 A driver, 2 B drivers, and 1 C driver for the race, the others will not score points for you. You do however keep the qualify points of a driver even if you don't start them in the race.

Thanks for explanation I evidently need all the help I can get.....I went in to change something so unchecked my choices, saved it that way....went to look up stuff and forgot to go back and select my choices.... so I got zero this week..dumbo me Glad it's not for money, I can be such a ditz sometimes
