VFK History of Nuts Quest 2016!
7:00 A.M. Pacific Time Sunday, November 20th, 2016 to 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time Monday, November 21st, 2016.

Fall is nut harvest time! Harvesting nuts has been done since ancient times! Many nuts have very hard shells, and are difficult to crack without special tools, or in the case of ancient peoples, special "nutting stones"! These special ancient nut crackers have been found all over Europe and North America, as evidence that people have been enjoying nuts for a long time! Also, as further evidence of our long association with nuts, there are many "nutty" expressions that have become part of our language over time! On today's quest, let's look at the history of nuts!
