Johnny Appleseed's birthday is Monday, September 26t! This American folk hero was actually a real man that became a legend in his own time. He was a religious man who wandered barefoot year 'round in the largely untamed wilderness of Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. As he went, he planted apple trees. His legacy was more than just planting apple seeds, it was helping to settle the frontier in his own unique way! On today's quest let's find out more about the real life of Johnny Appleseed!
