Christmas Ride Contest 2015

While I've not seen anything yet on home page for the rules, here's a little info gathered from some of VFK's newsletters/calendar

Per in-game calendar:

Contest Entry starts 12/10/15
Contest Entry Closes 12/15/15
Competition Judging begins 12/26/15 at 6pm
                 Judging (ends 12/28  - 6pm)


Per Newsletter in game 12/10/15:
     Click "i" button in the room you want to enter - and "Enter Contest" button.

   Don't forget to Include a ride  and can include up to 3 rooms.

VFK Christmas Gingerbread Ride Competition!


It's Christmas and that means Gingerbread, Frosting, Candy Canes, Peppermints, Gumdrops and Chocolate! Now it's up to you to craft all these delicious ingredients into an amazing Gingerbread Ride!

Rooms can be entered in the Christmas Gingerbread Ride Competition anytime between Thursday, December 10th at 6:00 P.M. Eastern Time (3:00 P.M. Pacific Time) and Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. Eastern Time (3:00 P.M. Pacific Time).

With 8 Christmases worth of confectionary Rides and Gingerbread furni, your imagination is the limit!

1. Your entry can include up to a maximum of three rooms. You may enter any type of room.

2. You can use any ride pieces that you want, you need not use the new Christmas Ride pieces.

3. Furni Perms are allowed, but remember, adding someone to the furni perms does not qualify them to receive an award for the room.

4. To enter the competition go to the beginning room of your ride and click the "i" button and then click "Enter Contest", only the start room of your ride is entered. The competition entry form will be displayed. Then, just fill out the entry form to submit your ride in the competition. Any furni in the room will be automatically stored.

5. Judges will not be able to see the room owner as they go through your ride.

6. You may enter one room per character. The deadline for entering is 6:00 P.M. Eastern Time (3:00 P.M. Pacific Time), Tuesday, October 15th, 2015.

7. Rooms in the competition will be locked one hour before judging starts, and you will be unable to make any further changes to your entry.

The top 5 places in our Christmas Gingerbread Ride Competition will receive:

All New Gold Medal Necklace (wearable)

Christmas Ride Package
Gingerbread House Contest Pin
10,000 credits

Second Place
All New Silver Gingerbread House Trophy (with contest inscription)
All New Silver Medal Christmas Necklace (wearable)
Special Contest Room
Christmas Ride Package
Gingerbread House Contest Pin
5,000 credits

Third Place
All New Bronze Gingerbread House Trophy (with contest inscription)
All New Bronze Medal Christmas Necklace (wearable)
Special Contest Room

If you're not quite ready to enter your Ride Competition Room, don't worry! Room Entry will be open until Tuesday, December 15th at 3:00 P.M. Pacific Time (6:00 P.M. Eastern Time).

You can include up to 3 rooms in your Gingerbread Ride! Good luck!
