No longer a Moderator on the DIS

As many of you know by now last night the DIS boards removed me as a moderator. I will no longer be posting on that forum. I have not been banned I just choose not to be associated with a bunch of freaking morons.

This is the reason I was given for my removal:

:wtf?:  Yup.. you projected caring for all.  Trying to keep VMK living up to it's own standards, and going overboard trying to help others out, with issues on VMK.

Obviously DIS does not want that kind of person moderating.  (Watch out Aengus and Lori.. they will be looking to bark up your trees soon, as you both exemplify caring as well.)

well I could not post here under my real id while a mod at the DIS now I have no restraints on me and I can truly say they can all just go to that little lava place we all know  :moon:

Sorry to hear about what went down.  But I do have to admitt the VMK side of DIS hasn't been itself lately.  Its more about complaining more than ever.

You know, I disagree with a lot of things the Dis does.  Mostly the way that they allow trolls to post at will but anyone who wants to speak out against them gets points or gets the thread locked (the most blatant example of this was the "stolen" green flips kid who was scamming everyone and their mother);  But this really takes the cake.  This is the grand poobah, how moronic can the dis be, wtf moment of them all.  I'm really sorry they did this to you Mal, but I'm happy that we'll have you over here now. :welcome_wave:   :drinkingtoast:

Oh, and please say freaking more often!  It is one of my favorite words.    :clap1:

OT: Okay my sweet but dim Lite Brite :idea: , yet another chance (which I notice Kat missed) to teach you spelling.  First, all you had to do was copy/paste.. but no.. you chose to try it yourself.. what Mal said was "freaking", not "feaking"!  :rofl1:

I also notice that your filament got stuck on the "t" key there "admitt"! :lolp:

I joined this board today, because of what happened to Mal.  I know the countless hours she spent putting her heart into that board.  I know the joy and frustrations she had over the years as a mod.  I also know how she went above and beyond her call as mod there.  

Any way you look at it the reasoning is lame. That board is who will suffer from this. Someone is going to have to pick up all the slack.  (My heart goes out to LoriR and Aengus!)

The players will feel it the most though. When things were wronged in vmk, it was Mal that the vmk staff responded to and answered. Now who is going to stand up for players who were wronged, had needless actions taken against them, etc. She was able to get results.

She, and they, can still stand up for the players. Mal just has a new venue. (And we will welcome any and all who need it as well.)
