Title: Food Family Checks In

Here everyone.  Thank you all for making VMK Great.  I got to see a few of you in the Game the last few days.

On a real world note I know everyone here was watching and listening to the Fires last year here in Southern California.  Well now it is flooding with a sudden downpour yesterday and more expected today.

Ciao, Cereal, Little Bow and Pink are all ok and I wanted to check in as the last update was on the edge as the fire was about to enter our favorite Canyon here in Orange County.

Yesterday the Canyon was evacuated at 1:00P and Ciao rushed in to get the kids out and was stressing as CHP cut off the North Entrance and last night I saw the Fast Track in the dashboard so I can only think of the urgency she was feeling as she rushed to the South Entrance in Rancho by way of the 241.  I think that is the worse feeling a Mom can have is being separated from her kids in an emergency even though they were in safe hands.

Last night another evacuation came around 11:00 but was optional and this morning we have some dark clouds hanging around and Tornadoes touched down yesterday out in Perris Valley!  Tornadoes in Southern California - actual derailed a train and throw a big rig across an interstate.

In summary we are safe and here are a few pictures from yesterday:

This is the North End and where Ciao was told to turn back and was prevented from reaching the kids!

huge hugs to you cereal, Fee and I were talking about the So Cal rain earlier... Seems they sawpped weather with the UK here, last year they had torrential downpours and huge floods (thankfully the family home was safe while I was safe in the dry with Fee when it happened) :bighug:
