Title: A little too much time on my hands today...
Post by: flamanar on May 28, 2009, 02:18 PM
Ok...so I started this 'project' about a month ago...but never finished it because I needed some of the items for my ride for the competition.  I finished it today.

It's a rough prototype of a "King gas containment room".  It has a double-wall construction, fans to keep the air in the containment section of the room, a chair and some reading material for King in case he gets bored, and a torch to burn off any excess gas that might escape.

And yes...I did have this idea before the ring of fans around him at closing the other night...you can ask .It if you don't believe me.  :waveh: lol.

Doesn't every man need a big screen TV?
Nice work..what are you using for bait?

Nice gas containment system.
Although the King of gas should have a throne...  :lolg:

Paws might have it right with big screen TV - good bait?

lol.  Yeah...a big screen TV would have been nice...and I did try to put one in there.  However, the brick walls had ideas of their own and wouldn't let me (ugh, I hate those walls).  Still waiting for VFK to release a 'throne'...

Bait is a problem....couldn't think of anything suitable to lure said King into the containment room.  :shy:

I have been King's "recipient of choice" from the beginning, to be gassed.  Last night at close, he chose to gas on my head!  Guess I'm saying I might be your bait Flame.  When do we do this?  :notme:  Could we have someone else with me so we could "apply the cure" :gas6:     :lolp:

Cure is easy... take the gas from him! :tongue3: Wendy can easily trade it on a mule which he does not of, then he would never find it... muahaha!

OK, first of all, I am so lmao right now! And, Pix, you cannot separate the man from the gas.  :lolg: I was going to volunteer as bait, but purpleduck is right, she really is the "victim of choice". Wow, we were just talking about Scooby Snacks the other day. Flame, your "containment room" looks like one of Fred's plans. Now all we need is some cheesy 70's music playing in the background while we all run around luring King into the trap!  :rofl1:

This is great - thanks so much for a much needed laugh today! Whew, checking to make sure my butt is still there - yep, I did not laugh it off.  :roflmao:

 :rofl1: Wendy!

Curious...if King green gas gases PurpleDuck's purple feathers....what color do PD's feathers become?

Do you sell those gas containment rooms - my hub might need one!  :lolg:

Lol.  Can you tell I have an...odd sense of humor sometimes?  :)  Just love to have fun and make people laugh ;)  That's what makes me happy! :wavet:

Yeah, we need some cheesy music!  This could get interesting...lol!  What you couldn't see in that picture was the elaborate ventilation system built into the ceiling that allows the gas to flow into the attic room and out through the roof where the light shines in.  From there, the gas flows up into the upper atmosphere, where it slowly but gradually eats away at the earths ozone layer...but we won't go into all that ;)

Remember, this is a prototype and has never been tested.  I figure with a large enough bowl of beans and other 'gas enabling foods', we could have a very effective test for the system...soon. :)

Fun, as soon as it's proven effective and fully inspected, I'll be sending in the patent paperwork and getting ready to price it for sale.  lol....green + purple = ?

Flamanar...hehe :)

Aww, thanks Wendy :)  .It and myself are mega happy to have found our new home here.  "verklempt"!   I love it!

All I can say is that the people here that I've come into contact with so far are amazing, kind and friendly people.  Hard to find people like that elsewhere.  I'm proud to be a member of this forum...and to have the honor to be friends with such nice people.  I'm still getting used to being able to 'be myself' (still removing the duct tape from my mouth without pulling out me beard...other forums are SO intolerant of truth or opinion...so much for 'freedom of speech'  :hmm: ), but I'm gradually 'coming back to life'.  ;)

A VFK toilet...hmm  (note to self...phone Gail and ask when the toilets will be out...end of note).  -goes to mini-mart and picks up a copy of Sports Weekly-  Ok...now all we have to do is wait for the toilet to come out.  I've heard it will be......soon??

(hugs) all around

Flamanar...starting to get a bit verklempt myself...
