Anyone else notice that if you deny a friend request, that specific person still show up on your list when you refresh?

Or is it just me? LOL!

I just noticed all these people on my list and I had no idea who they are! Tested it out to be sure, and yup that is what seems to be happening since the update.

I could remember denying requests and next time I logged in there they were on the list.

Ooooooh! Is THAT how that's happening??? I'm usually very picky about who goes on my friend's list, and I've been noticing lots of random names on it lately that I keep deleting. I thought perhaps there was a way someone could add themselves without asking permission which was getting me steamed.

Glad it's a bug that hopefully will get fixed soon.

OMG...I was just gonna post about this! I just noticed a BUNCH of unknown titles on the friends lists of Flamanar and the rest of my 'extended family'. Drove me crazy having to go through EVERY friends list and delete titles I didn't know.

If there is someone here who had Flamanar on your friends list and I'm not there now, please PM me and let me know. It was because I didn't recognize the title. I'll meet you in game and friend you again. TY

Yes, deleting a name I think I don't know is not a good way for me. You see, I'm kinda, well, forgetfull... and I'm never sure if that is someone I should know or not. Maybe it is a second character of a friend, or a friend of a friend I've only met a little but would like to get to know more, etc. I felt pretty safe with all the random Guest numbers.

Yeah, I'm the same. Forgetful.

Guest numbers: automatic denial for friends request for me. Too many clones. Blech. Just the way I roll, though

OK, so this is funny.

I keep all of our "minions" pretty much friend free except for each other and our mule foremen.

King was helping with some scavenger hunts the other night and the next day I noticed tons of new friends on all of the mules. So, I was giving him heck about adding all of these people.

Has anyone reported this? I think we all should. I remember the one bug with clothing not showing in the inventory. That had been happening for a week or more and when I reported it, Age said nobody had let them know yet. It would just stink if everyone thought someone else had reported it, then nobody did. Isn't there a poem like that?

Funny thing is, I kept getting requests while doing the quest tonight and each time I declined I thought, "What's the point? They're just gonna end up on my list anyway.".

Sigh. I think it's worse than we think.

For a few weeks, me and .it have shown offline most of the time to most people (which is good and bad...depending on your perspective

. Tonight I ran some 'tests'. I used Fish.i (much to her dismay. lol).

First, I removed her from my friends list. She then no longer showed on my list...but I still showed on hers! Then I refreshed...still no Fish.i on my list, but I was still on hers! Then I had her refresh...when she got back, she was still off my list...but I still showed on hers! Then I asked her to try to friend me...she said she couldn't (the friend request button wasn't lit). I then tried to request her...the button was lit for a request, so I sent one. She said she didn't receive anything. I looked at my list...NOW she was back on! OK...are we weird yet?

Not sure what to think....

Flamanar...me pea brain is too fried tonight to think anymore. nights.

I concur. Friend list is back to working like it used to, where people will show offline ~ when actually they are online. I've noticed that as well. But, had not experimented with delete/refriend. Now we know to NOT!

Well, I have been deleting people and complaining to VFK so who knows how long this will take.
I went on today and did my mission and had like 20 more people and I did not even see 20 people in the rooms unless they come and go and are very fast.

VFK are you just adding people each time I log on because I did not receive even one request today.

We got other problems! Even if you delete, the other person STILL has you on the list!!! Flame has a few experiences in that department....

Yeah. I'm getting IMs from people I deleted long ago! And that experiment with Fish.i a while back showed that people I deleted still remained on the other persons friends list.
