Hello to all of our NoBS friends! King has a birthday this weekend and we are going to be having a little party on VFK to celebrate! So, if you think you can stand the gas, we'd love to see you there! We are having it on Sunday evening, a day after his birthday as my mom is having surgery tomorrow and we are not sure how busy we will be up until Saturday. So, here are the details:

KingQuackATac's Birthday Bash

Sunday, May 17th
9pm-11pm EST

Hope to see everyone there for some cake, dancing, and gas!

It will be so nice for us to relax and get to just visit with everyone! Thanks Fun for the prayers, my mom's surgery went very well and when we left her room at about 11pm tonight she was talking about being in a "Conga Line".

Yes, she is still on the morphine drip. She has asthma, so they are keeping her at least overnight and maybe until Saturday to watch her oxygen levels and she was a little dehydrated. But, the surgery itself went very well and the hospital is great! They have open visitation, with the kids allowed up and in the room also. I am exhausted, as we were at the hospital since 8:30 this morning. My sister is taking the morning shift tomorrow and we will see if she gets discharged.

I wanted some of what was in her port!

She was seeing fountains in her room and a disco ball!

Now, that is some happy medicine!

Everybody have a good time ,sorry i wil not make it but as i am five -nine hours ahead,i shall be fast asleep.
So i will be breathing clean air ,while you party goers will ofcourse be choking on gas

Wow Pix you took lots of pics too -Woot!

I have 46 total to go through, so many funny moments!

I will try to add some pics here and Pix, you should feel free to also!

King is now fast asleep, but I don't think I have seen him smile and laugh so much in a long time! It was soooo great to see so many friends together, laughing and just having fun. Reminded us of the reason we loved VMK and now love VFK and NoBS - we are so very blessed to have the most wonderful, loving, and hysterical friends. As we logged off tonight, we were just filled to overflowing with thankfulness for all of our friends here on NoBS, VMK, and VFK. We may all be miles apart, but tonight it felt like you were all sitting right here with us, enjoying time together. (Of course, if you were really sitting here - you'd have to smell the real stuff)

Even though I am able to do a little more now than I have since first getting sick, our life is often limited because of things I can't do or places I can't go. When we are together with all of you, those limitations evaporate and you all bring such joy to our lives. We may have all met as avatars, but the friendships we share are very, very real! I wish I could express in words what tonight meant to King and to myself, but words could never do justice to the joy we felt seeing everyone tonight. King's real birthday yesterday was filled with work, helping my mom get released from the hospital and settled in at home, and helping me clean up after a sweet little Princess Red who had a little stomach flu she picked up at the hospital. Not much fun cleaning up after a sick kid on your birthday or helping your mother-in-law to the toilet.

Yet, he did it all without complaint. So, we celebrated here today and then tonight with all of you - and what fun it was!

Thanks to everyone who dropped in.

I know many people could not stay long due to the lag and we missed a few of you who couldn't make it due to other things. Thanks to you for the kind messages and even the gifts you sent to King. Tonight just reminded us how many special people we have met here on NoBS and through the games we all play together. Hugs to you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I am off to get some rest and will try to post pics tomorrow!

Wendy, we are also grateful for you and King to be on VFK. Without you, we would not have a place here to call home, where we can set our minds free and post our daily life on VFK. Though VMK has closed its gates, I am so grateful to that as I would had never been able to meet everyone on this board, nor the fantastic people on VFK. Yes, some of us cannot go to places all the time. It is so great to have a place to escape to and unwind with a barrel of gas or pixie port... LOL.

Hope little princess is feeling better!

Well, I for one had a blast! It was so much fun and it was awesome to see so many friends all in one place! I'm so glad King was happy and that you are improving, Wendy. Prayers still for your mom and little princess. Congrats again on your winning ride! What an awesome surprise at Kings party! Wish we could have stayed longer, but .it had to clean up after a little birthday get-together for her with our folks just before coming to Kings party, write up the kids homework for this week, get ready for work today, etc...and I was getting ready for browser crash #2. LOL. What at amazing amount of ppl all in one room! Did someone say it went up to 42? Holy cow! Absolutely incredible.

Really...so glad we were able to share such an amazing moment with you guys
