Ok.  These Jade 'age hunts' UBER STINK!  The lag is ridiculous, and hundreds of people all cramming into rooms and fighting, bragging about their clones just winning in a different room, etc.!  They need to stop this crappy kind of event.

Even Jade had lag.  I should have won a round.  Instead, in red letters we saw 'sorry, lag'?!  I sent in help report.  NO response.

You know...it's bad enough when regular players are having bad lag.  It's unacceptable that a HOST is affected by lag in an event.  She admitted later she also had computer problems.

This type of game.....nvm.  

Surprised to see Fun there!  Fun, you crazy!  Didn't you have lag?!    I could hardly get my words out!  Sigh.  I hope they do away with this type of event.  'Nuff said.

For statistical purposes...from the last blast:  "A total of 114 winners today."

ETA:  prize is now "Host Winter Sweater Snowmen" (boy & girl versions).

I did not enjoy playing Jade's "age hunt" today.

Anyone that suffers from lag will not survive Jade's "age hunts" !!!

I handle lag fairly well, but this "age hunt" was the worst lag I've ever had!!!

BTW, Jade's Icy Ride last night was also very laggy if you were lucky to win and got to ride it!  It made you cross your fingers (and tail) that you wouldn't crash before getting the Prize Awarded Pop UP!

well bummer ... I see from the Event Calendar what this new sweater looks like... and it's BLUE!  I wasn't around today, I did not participate.  I hope it's out for a few more events, at least so I can try. 

Although if it was a Jade Hunt, I wouldn't have survived even if I was home.  lol

I guess one of the worst things (for me) about this hunt was the lag...but ALSO the fact that it was scheduled for HOW LONG now as a HOST DRAGON hunt!  They changed it JUST before the event started.  AGAIN!

I appreciate them putting stuff on the calendar.  Now I need them to PUT THE RIGHT STUFF ON IT!

Of course I had lag!    I did eventually quit the Host Hunt because of the lag - but I felt that at least I gave it a chance.  I'll try it again...... perhaps. But I also get very bored trying to hunt down - or wait for a host. The only thing that you can do is stare at a bunch of others waiting for the same; or read their signatures. Unless you get with a group of "interesting"  people - at which point I usually end up using the Report Button at least once.

 I had popped on to do quest today and got pop up about the host hunt in progress. Figured I'd try it. I had lots of lag - but I felt better about at least knowing the general "room ages" would the right area.  I had lag from people/fairies entering and leaving rooms.  I noticed  list of winners that I had been in the right room but decided to leave myself  (unless those winners also left the room I saw them in previously)  Maybe I should have stayed in some of those rooms. 

That being said, I care very little for any type of host hunt really.  Too much lag, freezing, missing hosts, etc. Maybe I'll try it again sometime "soon"

  Given a choice, I'll vote for the Ride and/or Teleporter Games EVERY time for right now.

We have much more success with ride/teleporter games...but yesterdays ride event was plagued with uber lag because they only used ONE room for everyone to ride in...people chatting up a storm...etc.  I can't believe I didn't crash going through there!  It was long, too!  Ah well.  Maybe next ride event will be different rooms to spread out the masses

The event today was once again problematic in that there were multiple (and I mean MULTIPLE) instances of rooms.  You could wait there till the cows come home...and someone could have won in one of the other 5 instances of the room.  And you'd never know it.  Blah.  They can keep todays event.

Well, Jades hunt tonight wasn't AS bad as previous Jade hunts.  Instead of hunting in only ONE age at a time, she did TWO ages at a time.  So there were less people in each area.  Unfortunately, there were still LOADS of ppl playing.  There were also some unclear messages she gave out.  Like the following:



Notice the lack of closing quotes?  Everyone was asking whether you had to have the 'period' at the end or not.  Never did receive a response to my help report.  She also changed what you were supposed to say about 3 times during the hunt.

I personally don't care for these type of hunts.  At least with regular hunts, you get blasts that keep you awake.  With this kind of hunt, you just sit there staring at the screen O.O   VERY boring.  Also very hard to win.  The clones were out IN FORCE tonight.  'Nuff said.  Here's the list of winners:

I give this hunt only half a blah...

*IF* we are going to forced to deal with these "age" hunts, I must say that I prefer the way it was last night, with Jade spreading out over 2 ages.  I agree with Flame that I actually miss the blasts, it helped keep me awake and on my toes too.  I have not decided whether I like the phrase changing every once in while or not.  I become fumble fingers when it first pops up and I am trying to get it typed right, but that is they way I handle that kind of thing, lol.  You should see me during the "deluxe" type hunt when I have to think fast and type the right host title in there, I am a wreck.

I really hope that they have not completely done away with the traditional host hunts with Dragon.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that tonight's IS the more laid back (gosh did I just say that?) Dragon hunt.

The problem for me with the phrase change was that she put it in with the rest of the blast...so it was at the end of an uber-long list of winners (which nobody has time to read).  So I close the box.  Then I'm toast...because I no longer have the popup that tells what the phrase is!  Blah.  She needs to get her blasts sorted out better so they're easier to read...and leave no questions as to whether there is supposed to be a '.' at the end of the phrase or not.  Sheesh.

Well, I guess Host Dragon is no more.  AGAIN, the hunt changed just before the start to Jades.  She did another 'age hunt'.  BLECH!  Changes in the phrases, too.  Her popups are messed up every once in awhile (like in the picture I posted in a post above this one), and she had issues tonight.  There was a blast that said something like "sorry for the delay, but I had issues.  the hunt will now continue".  I was like    I wasted how much time trying to win...and she wasn't even around?  Nice.  She shouldn't have told us she had issues...if she wasn't going to tell us WHEN SHE STARTED to have issues!  Sigh.  Anything for a Dragon at this point.  The list of winners:
