Just an FYI ...


Per Event Calendar.  New prize tonight - Crossword Puzzle Pin 2011 (animated).  Begins at 9PM (CENTRAL TIME)

Host Dash's Host Hunt will give a choice of the new pin or crossword hat, per Event Calendar.

Thanks Astro.  I can sum up tonights event in one emote:  :yawn:  LOL.  It seemed like it moved uber slow.  While the idea of guessing the word was nice, everyone was spamming it anyways...so it really didn't matter.  It became a 'regular' hunt.  Tons of spam.  Tons of nothing happening.  

Although the pin is awesome.

Yep, the spam can get really really annoying!  The worst thing: when the room floods with a bunch of blue blobs and you are trying to say the phrase with each new blue blob -- AND YOU GET A TYPING TICKET!!!  How UNcool is that?  It happened to Hero last night; I have been saying ever since these type of host hunts began that some day, it cost me/us a win....well last night it did.  And is was no 5 second little ticket either: it was at least 10 seconds!!!  Later, I got a 15 SECOND ticket, after only saying the phrase 3 times quickly!  It did not cost me a win, but it COULD have. 

They need to turn off the typing ticket penalty for these kind of hunts.  I had Hero send in a HELP, but I don't think anything came of it -- shock!  The nice thing though, is after his ticket expired, and he typed "Grrr...typing ticket..." the person who had flown in and won, did say "aww, sorry"...oh well.

I actually like the hunts where we have to say varying phrases; it's fun.  But they need to do away with typing tickets for sure.

I really liked these items, but a darn Host Hunt so I didn't do it.  If I had known these were the items I might have tried for it though, but oh well.  The hat looked like a bowl of icecream to me anyway with a shovel in it.  I think its suppose to be a pencil and a crossword block now that I look at the picture here.

Sorry you didn't win .It.  I hate the typing tickets too.  They get very annoying.
