For the people who like to know what words have been added and removed from the VMK dictionary, I intend to use this thread to post changes when I notice them.

Since the last time I posted on the old board, here's what's new:

New words added to dictionary_142:

Kit, yardage would be to allow for football games, now with all the football items out there.

Not only ya'll misspelled, but how about "sighes"?   ;D   The 'e' is only for past tense!

Ah but wait.. we have another entry:  "stoped"  :what:  Oh sure I could be wrong that it should have been past tense for stop making it "stopped", but I find it unlikely they meant to use past tense of "stope".  Ready?  Merriam Webster 11th Collegiate - STOPE:  <noun>  "a usually steplike excavation underground for the removal of ore that is formed as the ore is mined in successive layers".   Um, is VMK planning something in the Thunder Mountain Mines?   :lol:

Oh VMK.. when you hire people to design and create the games, apparently there is no need to understand/spell/speak proper English hmm?  :'(

OMG...stoped...too funny.  :D Maybe they'll have a Thunder Mtn month. Then I can have Stoping parties to rival my Salad parties. Wonder what kind of magic they could come up with for that? Pick Axe Magic? Grumpy Magic?  ;D

I'm sorry I just have to comment on the new words added.  Why would we need to say quack?  Maybe it is for a quest that is coming up?  The rest of the words make sense, because they added New Orleans Square.  But walking around and saying "quack" is just a litlle silly....  I might just have to "quack" myself up and quack up and down New Orleans square!   ;)

(oh and the bunny with the pancake on his head is too funny!)  :)

I didn't mean to offend any "ducks" out there!  I just thought it was odd that we can say quack on VMK.  But then again we can say Hornswoggle , so why does anything have to make and sense?

And I love all of the duck pictures!  The Cat with the duck hat is priceless!

Players can no longer be a sovereign character or drag others into a game. However, pollution is now a problem in the Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK). This month we can learn to be environmentality (yes it is spelled, environmentally � but not in VMK) aware and protect our rainforest in VMK. Remember that ecology teaches us to reuse and recycle things to conserve our natural resources.

I feel like they're intentionally removing common words slowly so we sound increasingly stupider and stupider as the days go by  :P

Well, actually, I got a dragon hatchling avatar yesterday, which was color customizable, and somehow, it seemed appropriate to make him a nice shade of emerald green.

So, I'm still green!

Just a little shorter, and a whole lot scalier.

And with a little pot belly.

He's cute!

There are so many words on VMK that we can say, that I'm not really sure why they are there.
hornswoggle-  is there a reason for this word on VMK?
undemocratic-  does that mean we are rupbulican?
bionic-  I can't think of what is Disney related with that word.

There are others, but those seem to stick in my mind the most.

Lately some of my friends and I have been playing around with adding words to the front of our VMK titles.

Examples:  caribbeankangapal, chipmunkkangapal, etc.
I'm surprised VMK hasn't fixed that bug.  It sure is fun to play around with when you've got a group of people together.

Oh I know what you mean there. For a while we could only say "evidently" but were not allowed to say "obviously". So, in my usual attempt to reply to someone who just blurted out the most obvious statement, I was forced to say "evidently". The response I'd get either included:  :blink: , :crazy2: ,  :wtf?: , or :lolp:. I'll tell you this though, it's the perfect word to use when you want to end a conversation with a bunch of kids who have yet to discover some of the less common vocabulary lol. Half think you just swore to their faces and the other half sit there scratching their heads.

Needless to say, I was pleased when the more common and used term found it's way into the VMK dictionary lol.

Prince Caspian is in the Narnia series.  They are releasing a movie with him in it, in 2008.   Maybe there will be a VMK connection with Caspian?

You're welcome!  There are many books in the Narnia series.  Maybe Disney decided to make more movies out of the books.

I would guess why we can't say Mowgli yet is.... because too many people wouldn't be able to spell it.   :laugh2:

I still eagerly await the addition of the word "flawless".

I was actually trying to say VMK_Shorty the other day and couldn't.  I was trying to tell Fly thay I saw Shorty in the Pirates Lobby with a Flying Carpet magic.  But couldn't say anything about shorty.  Weird that I could say his name when he was in the room, but not in another room when he wasn't present.

VMK Shorty had been wandering throught the kingdom the last few days.  I think that spurred the "short" additions.

Poor Shorty.  I wouldn't want to be titled "shorties" or "shortiness" for short of my title.   :lolg:
