VFK Trick or Treating has started. Just say "Trick or Treat!" in all Public rooms.
Will update this post with candy gathered, prizes and magic.

Obviously these people have never heard of planning and logistics! :rofl1: They would certainly fail in the army. lol
Who thought it would be a good idea to have all of the game rooms in the Space Age as part of the trick or treat area?!!!
I'm just glad I didn't have to do the open road as well to get my pin....though on second thought I don't know that it could have been any worse. lol!
Well off to get my clones started now. I know I'll be saving the Space Age on them for early, early in the morning! :laugh2:

I see I have the Phantom magic (pretty cool), I never got a message about when I received it, like the messages I got for the other two prizes.
I did do Open Road as well as everything else, and got 252 candies. Wish I knew how many it took to get the Phantom magic, so I could know which rooms I could "miss".

Well I've just gotten done with my first clone, and she didn't need to do the space age before she got her pin thank goodness! I had done the original areas, Medieval, Western and Victorian and Australian, then I had done the underwater and the fairy and was doing the tiki theater when I decided to just check my inventory. Woot! The pin and the pumpkin were there already. :) And, that was after sitting down and watching some of Topper, too. :laugh2:
So it looks like you can get away without the space age after all. Though there are three rooms there for the scavenger hunt of all things! ;)

I'm taking a sewing break and checking everything out. I am soooo behind on everything. We don't even have costumes bought yet. I'll probably stay up late tonight and try to catch up some.

I love the names on the candy this year...Oxygen Brain instead of Air Heads...Classic!
Also, for any LOST fans out there, King and I are officially calling the new Phantom Magic, "Smoke Monster Magic" or Smoky Magic for short. ;)

Haven't really been on for a long time, but I just couldn't miss Halloween! Does anyone know if there is anything past the magic? It seemed to take no time at all to get it... or was I just really excited?

I, too, wondered. Just saw someone say that you should keep Trick or Treating....not sure how long after the magic is received. Then go back to the King's Round Table Room and say "Trick or Treat!" and you get a golden pumpkin.
I remember that from another year as well, now that I saw someone telling others in the game.
So folks, keep Trick or Treating for that Golden Pumpkin at King Arthur's Round Table

Thanks Fun for the reminder of getting a golden pumpkin. I just went and sure enough Duck and my clone both got the golden pumpkin.
(So that's where I got the golden pumpkin from that has been sitting in my inventory.. for oh, about a year now! :lolp: )

I am glad I came back and looked cause I have been up all night doing my trick or treating and wondering about the pumpkin. I didn't know we had to say Trick or Treat again in there to get it. :(

Just checking in - thanks for the Golden Pumpkin heads up ladies! :bighug: :thumb:
I read here before I started "Trick-or-Treating", so I took note of when things seemed to appear.
For King and I both, it took all of the Medieval, Western, Victorian, Australian, and Space rooms to get the "Phantom Magic". (This was including all of the English Countryside rooms, all of the Haunted Mansion rooms, both mazes, and the rooms leading to and including the party boat.)
After that, I did Fairy World, Icetastic, and about 3 rooms in Splashtastic. Went back to the Round Table and Poof, got the Golden Pumpkin.
It seems a little easier this year to get the items, or maybe I am just remembering hunting for all of those Easter Eggs!
So, we got the kids and ourselves finished...now off to rest.

I did find on subsequent clones that I could do all of the Medieval Age, Western Age, Victorian Age, Australia, and all of the epic ages except for the space age ( :wavet: ) and still get everything. :)
And, I didn't have to do the open road on anyone either. :) As long as you got all of the shops, maps and such it seemed to work for me. ;)

Very good question, Fish.i. I wonder if there is a 'super-duper-wizz-bang-holycow-OMG' prize that nobody ever got from last year and this year?...because nobody said 'Don't spit into the wind' at the Castle Gate at 1a.m. VFK time during a full moon... :P

Since we have to try to find a sense of humor even in the most frustrating of times...here's a thought...
In about an hour or so kids will be coming for trick or treat at my house...I wanted to wear something a little bit scary...I have changed my costume last minute. Will be wearing a hat and will write VFK with Sharpie on it. That should scare them! :roflmao2:

King sent a help request about 4am asking about trick or treating. I was asleep at the keyboard, so he sent a message to see if it would be running past open Monday. (today) I logged him on today and there was a reply that:
"Trick or Treating will continue through Monday"
I am guessing at least through close tonight then? Just a guess based on the "through Monday".

Same here. I just wanted to know either way. No response. I was too tired last night to do anything when I got home last night. I am very pleased to see now, that it is still going on. Will catch up :thumb:
