VFK Honey Quest!
7:00 A.M. Pacific Time Sunday, September 12th, 2010 to 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time Monday, September 13th, 2010.
September is National Honey Month! All month long bees and their natural sweetener - honey are celebrated! Ancient peoples kept bees and harvested honey much the same way that we do today. Honey has also been valued for more than just sweetening foods, it has medicinal properties as well. A lot of our expressions even come from our long association with bees. On today's quest, let's explore some interesting history about bees and honey!
Your reward for completing this quest will be 1,000 credits, and a Honey Tree!
OMG, Yay another tree.....not! :uhuh2: :td: :rofl1: I think it would of been better if it had a hive in it and if you rotated it, like the beehive they had for a host prize, and bees flew out of it. Now that would of rocked! :hmmmm: :lolg:

Maybe when it's rotated.... :hmmmm: - wonder if it does anything....the tree looks like it has an "interesting" shape to it.
Thanks for the info and pics Krazy and Astro! :bighug:

Make sure you do rotate this tree. Bees fly around and into the tree! :2thunbs:

woot! :clap1: I love that you can see some of the honey hive and sit on the branch next to it!

Thanks Krazy and Astro! A unique tree, and a neat idea allowing us to sit on the branches and watch the bees. :)
