GO GO GO!!
"Mowtastic" event. Age and Enigma each have a room on the host room list. IT'S NOT IN THE HOCKEY RINK AND YOU DON'T NEED SKATES!! Wow...we're racing with mowers on grass...got it right this time! The room looks like a football field.
It's a relay race and involves teams? :??: :??: :??:
First player pushes the mower to the opposite line, second player on that team pushes it back across the starting line.
Both members of the winning team will receive the Spring Flower Chair. OMG....NO NEW PRIZE?!! :(
Ages line is a relay, Enigmas is not. Age looks like she's giving the prize to everyone who plays for now. Not sure she will do that the whole time.
The relay is ridiculous. It's hard enough pushing the mower forward. It's much worse pushing it backwards. Not to mention you can be very good at moving the mower...and your team member can be pathetic. Not a fan of the relays, for sure :( Unfortunately, Ages room is chaos.
ETA: I also think this is heavily dependent on the speed of your computer/connection. We won on the faster laptops, but not on mine (which is the oldest). Personal opinion/observation.
UPDATE: rumor has it that Age's room is no longer a 'relay'. Hope that's true.

I probably missed this again... idk though? Just logged on a clone to run the scavenger hunt and checked the Host Tab -- rooms are still up and I was able to get in a full queue line. But Event Calendar says it's over, so idk. Worth a try I guess.
Nice pic Flame! I really want a lawnmower! They are so cute it looks like! :2thunbs:

Ty Astro :) Game just ended. They kept it up a LONG time past when it was supposed to end. ;)

Like the look of the field, thanks for posting a pic with the mowers in it, Flame. :thumb: We did not make it on for this - we took a rainy day drive to a local Cincinnati favorite, "The Root Beer Stand". Yummy! :drinkingtoast2:
I am glad to see they are still offering the Spring Flower Chair as a prize. I hope more players were able to get their hands on it this way. I know I go against the grain amongst most traders in game, but I always like seeing items more available to more players. Especially a furniture item people can build with.
Hope we get to own some VFK lawn mowers soon! :dance2:

Wow! Sounds like you did have a yummy time! Flame loves root beer :) Especially floats! Can't remember the last time I had one :(
The chair is very pretty, and I like it better as a decoration than a chair. In the past, though, they usually don't award the same host hunt prizes for host games/events as well. I'm wondering if host hunts are a thing of the past now? :??:
I'm also wondering if the speed of your connection/computer hurts or helps your odds of winning these races? I heard one player complaining that they saw themselves win tonight, but the other person got the prize. One of the hosts mentioned that they probably had 'high latency'. You can read more about 'high latency'...and 'lag'...at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lag (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lag)
Interesting. Like I said...I wonder if the faster the computer/connection, the better the chance of winning these games? Just a thought. I will say the game dogged on my older laptop (which is still no slouch, btw). However, it ran about twice as fast on the other 2 computers we have. So.... :hmmmm:
I smell lawn mowers in our future, yes :)

Yep, Flame, they used to be an A&W Root Beer Stand - now it is just The Root Beer Stand. They make their root beer there, I believe. It is so delicious. I wish you could enjoy those kinds of things - hugs. :bighug: They serve foot long hot dogs and pizza steak sandwiches, among other things. If you eat in, there are bar stools and they have all kinds of little water games and those little wooden peg games to play. I found the link to their homepage if anyone wants to take a peak...

We have Stewarts Root Beer stands around here...but they're disappearing pretty fast :(

Isn't it funny how each region has their own chain of these root beer stands...
We have Dog 'n Suds out here. They still have the "carhop" service, which is fun That's probably why they are only open in the Spring/Summer months. Like most, they are disappearing quickly as well -- luckily ours is still open close by.

LOL that is a funny name :) We have 2 Stewarts within driving distance that are the old 'carhop' kind. Surprised they're still open. Still have that retro look, too. Love it! Hope they are able to stay around.

Yummy, I love hotdogs! We use to have a Stewarts close by too, but they closed up so now we go to one that is a little further away, but love the Orange Cream Soda and the Italian Hotdogs (not so much potatoes though). They have a carhop too which I love and sometimes we have driven by it and seen them having a old car show there as well. :2thunbs:
