It is very similar to pirates from vmk.
Give 500 credits to everyone for right now, as we get used to it.

Oh my gosh! The word is out that Space Pirates is now open!! I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but lots of people in the lobby saying things like "gg guys" and "let play again" so sounds like people are actually able to play the game!

Just played a game of pirates! This definitely has potential!! Now if I can only figure out a way to bring back "friendly pirates" :)
By the way, it's 500 credits a game right now. Get those credits while you can!

Yay, I have been waiting for this day since VFK opened lol. :) Of course my laptop is not liking the lag right now and even shut down on me. :hmm:

Well I am just about as good at space pirates than I was at sea pirates. Though I do not die right away if I can figure out where my ship is.
Ok anyone figure out if you need to use two hands. One to move the arrow keys and one to click the mouse. Seems I little awkward.
Is there another way.

well, i played completely by myself and still got my 500 points! :yes!:

Thanks Beth! I was able to get on and play a couple games by myself, which helped a lot to get the motions and shooting, that I could not get with others.
Also see that one of my requests to Vintage, and I'm sure many asked for it too.. we now have our titles with the ship! :yes!:

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more figuring out which ship is mine... and of course, in the meantime someone sinks me....LOL!
And now, I know who to target while in game too! :boxing:

Oh drat! Guess it was too good to last. I don't seem to be able to start a game by myself now.
Unless it's just my laptop being funky again...
Is anyone able to still play by themselves and get the 500 credits?

Pink, I just logged in and tried it. I could still play by myself, and I did get the 500 credits.
Only thing I encountered was sometimes to enter a dock, the game screen didn't come up. So I had to go back to the lobby and pick a different one.

Yeah, I think I broke dock #9. Game screen won't come up anymore. But I'm successful in playing by myself in all other docks. Yay!
It's also a great way to practice steering and shooting too.
I'm wondering.... anyone up for a Nobs group game of pirates tonight or tomorrow night? Not sure how it would work as "following" someone doesn't always put you into the same lobby or game, but we could try? I think it would be great fun to play against other Nobbers, and we all come out a winner regardless! :)
