Just received a popup ingame that yesterdays scavenger hunt has ended, and that the new one will begin 'shortly'. FYI.

BTW: the ham ridiculously tiny. I won't say where, but yer looking for something SMALL!!!
OMG -pulls hair out-...what is with all the people going AFK on TOP of the 'targets'? I just ran a person through and had THREE different times where a crowd of ppl were yelling at a person to get off the target...and they all said they were AFK!!! ARG!!
VFK needs to make some kind of 'barrier' around every target so that they do not become unclickable due to people standing too close.
Holy cow: chaos at the Opera House! Angry mobs yelling at ppl to get off the 'target'! Film at 11!
Have I mentioned the insane lag yet? It's bogging down every character of mine right now.

I think VFK had a good idea with the targets in a few places: placing objects where people can't get to them, or have difficulty getting to them. The gate house and Merlins Square targets come to mind. Or very tall targets, like the soldier at the zoo.
UPDATE: they've moved the target at Merlins Square to the ground!!! ARG!!!!

Flame, flame, flame.... *shakes head* Single mode man!!! Single mode!!!! You taught me that! I've done 10 hunts in less than an hour! And no chaos for me.
I caught Age moving the items. LOL. I thought I was in trouble cause I walked into the room and she poof in front of me. Scared me to dead... she laughed at that.

Gosh golly, I found the ham fairly easy; but that green drink at the Gate place - blech. First I went to the wrong Gate. When I found the right room there was some boy fairy blocking the drink (yep Flame, even where it was - the fairy blocked it!) :madder: :jester:
Flame, I bet they moved Merlin's Square to the ground because people forgot to look up :lolg: - And you mentioned insane lag.. I've gone insane from that lag - :crazy4: :crazy: :blink:
And I'm still trying to give FREE ANSWERS to those asking - even though the lag is deading me :sur:
Pix, omg gosh girl. poor sweet Astro would have been blamed for moving items tonight; all along it was "evil" Pix who then got caught by Age... :lolg: (ok, it was Age moving them but Pix was looking so guilty :notme: )

BTW: thanks so much pix for reminding me of single player mode. 'Forcing single player mode' has cut my lag to Zero...and no 'icky people' to deal with! YAY!

Ahhh....single player mode is a little piece of heaven ;)
Open 2 tabs on your browser. I'll name them tab 1 and tab 2 from left to right.
Log onto VFK using tab 1. Switch to tab 2 and log onto VFK USING THE SAME USER/PASS as tab 1 (you're logging the same player on both tabs).
Switch back to tab 1. You will eventually see a box that asks if you want to connect. DO NOT CLICK CONNECT! You want to hit the black 'x' in the upper right of this 'connection' box to close that box.
Tab 1 is now in single player mode, and tab 2 can be closed. It's a wonderful thing :)

Also, note.. you cannot do the scavenger hunt while you are doing a quest hunt. Only one at a time. Just found that out!

Hmm, that doesn't seem right, because you can start a quest and then come back to it. How annoying.

OK, I tried to get a video of the wolves at the zoo to add to our PBS type of nature shows at closing, but missed it. :lolg:
They really did try to place objects in better places this time and Vintage is all over the place right now checking on things.
One thing with the cup in the gate house - there were some players doing the "people stacking" in there right by the cup on the roof. They were laughing and clearly blocking the cup on purpose the more they talked. They moved when King asked them to but then went right back to stacking. A few minutes later they "poofed" out of the room, so I am thinking there were many reports flooding the Help button. :sos:
Well, I think this is my favorite hunt so far. Woot - and I saw golden on the map helping out again. :clapping: You go get 'em girl!

Pix, did they change this hunt vs quest to only one at a time now?- because I was doing both earlier. But there were Staff/Hosts in the Crossroads saying they are fixing a problem...

EDIT: I think they fixed the problem, pond is back! hmm but I don't see any other people now. :??:

I swear I did not move any Items tonight. Really Really Really I didn't. :waveh:
On a side note, yes all of the below were missing when I ran the Hunt on clone:
Frog Pond & Soda Pop Cup were missing
Soldier & Fan were moved
Even Staff couldn't find that pond it seems!
The map is beyond lag.i for me, so I have tried to avoid that area at all costs, it's awful lonely otherwise in alone mode. :waveb:
