Title: Furni Perms and Ride Competition Info - From VFK Office

King phoned VFK tonight just to clear up any confusion over ride contest rooms and furniture permissions. (furni perms)

It is fine if you have used furni perms in your room to allow friends in when you are not "home". Example: some people gave me furni perms to video their room for the rainbow ride room video. This is not a problem at all.

It is also fine if you have used furni perms to have someone help you with building/placing objects or ride pieces. They said they totally expected the furniture permissions to be used this way.

What is NOT allowed is using furni perms to use other peoples' items in your ride room. Example: Giving someone furni perms in your room so you can use their 10 gold pots and 20 chocolate bunny chairs. VFK just wanted to make sure the items you build your room with are your own.

Hope this clears up any confusion and helps everyone feel comfortable in how they have used the furni perms in building for the competition.  :bighug:

Hmm... I don't know, I'm unsure of how that stops someone from having 100 palm trees that don't belong to them in their competition room.  Very easy to borrow things from friends using the trade window, so not allowing furni perms for this reason is just silly to me.

Just my opinion!  :)
