I have heard from a few pretty reliable VFK friends that Harmony said there would be a Host Teleporter Event sometime tomorrow evening. (Tuesday, March 3rd) I also saw this posted on another forum, so several sources seem to be confirming this. I thought I'd post something here so everyone can maybe keep an eye out for this to happen. Harmony said there will be 2 different winning teleporters, one will have the new magic and the other will have the hat. Good Luck everyone! :thumb:

Aww. It looks like I'll be missing the Host game if it's this evening. Maybe it will be more like this afternoon I hope.
It's my mom's birthday and we're going out to dinner to celebrate!

Going on right now! Looked for Host rooms on tab and it was there, also just got a pop up in game.
Not sure when it started? I'm over 700 in line, so I probably won't get in. :(

Hugs friends! I saw lots of familiar names lit up on my friend list tonight - hope everyone had good luck with the teleporter event. I was like you, Astro, and just happened to catch it around 6:30 EST or so when it had just started and got in line at 800. I was just about to come post when I got your IM Astro. If anyone tried to stop in to say Hi, I was afk most of the time until my turn got close - Poor Princess Red has a double ear infection - no fun. So She was snuggled with me getting some extra TLC while we waited for our chance at the host game. The queue system seems to be working pretty well and I thought it was moving very quickly tonight, so Woot! :thumb:
I took a picture of one of the teleporter exit rooms and noticed some pots of gold placed around the room. I hope this will be a new item for sale closer to St. Patrick's Day.

Astro and I were comparing notes via IM during the teleporter event also! So, it sounds like the game started around 3:30 PM PST/6:30 PM EST. Ended at 6 pm PST. I too found the line moved pretty quick. Thank goodness, especially since I was still at work (ssshhh, don't tell! ;) )!! When I entered the Host room, the Host was great at keeping people moving through one of the five teleporters. I was really worried about encountering lag but I refreshed when I was about 100 away from entering. I didn't run into any lag at all which surprised me because Astro said she experienced alot!
Unfortunately, I did not choose wisely and I ended up empty handed! Tried to get in again but the line was over 1,000 and we only had about 45 minutes before the end. Oh well, still about a month to try to get that cool magic pin! I won't give up just yet! ;)

Yep, I did have lag. :( Boo Lag! I'm glad some of you didn't. It's not easy to navigate in those rooms with lag, and you end up hopping over somewhere you didn't expect to be. That's another worry, is getting the boot, as soon as I would hit a host room due to lag. Eeek!
I should have refreshed, but didn't want to miss my spot in line. I know better now. :doh: Sounds like that was the smart thing to do Disco, since I was on for quite a while waiting in line, without refreshing, was probably the cause of my lag issues.
