Title: Christmas Store Closed & Decorations Down 1-5-09

Well, I logged on today to find the Christmas Store door closed and the windows dark. :'( It will be nice to see it again next December - hope everyone was able to pick up some goodies before the doors closed. I also noticed that the Victorian Public Rooms still have snow, but most decorations (except snowmen) are down also. Goodbye Christmas for another year.  :waveb:

What about the gingerbread come on they can not close down the one of the few things we can build with.

If I've learned anything, it was to try and be prepared.  And just buy what I most liked, with the credits I had available.

I just remember things being gone in VMK like the very next day after a holiday.  I know what that feels like for sure.  :(  I'm thankful that VFK left the store open for a few days more anyway.  Thanks VFK   :2thunbs:

Quite honestly VFK really outdid themselves this year with all the neat holiday stuff.  Are we spoiled already?   :lolg:  VFK will be sooooo expected to "wow" us with holiday items, next year!

Hugs to all that didn't quite get to pick up all the holiday stuff they wanted.   :hug:

Well I do not think this was a bright move by VFK. Why until there is something to be added back in so we who like building can continue there is nothing to keep us going back. Today was the first day since I got building that I was not interested in VFK. I am not happy about this maybe I should write them.  I know many came back because we could build. If fact I think I will write them now.

Yup I sent off a note. And asked for the the very lease other items that had the same building sizes and dimensions. I find the ice blocks are impossible to build with and yes I tried. I also enlcosed some of my room pics. But I saw many coming back because finally we could build.

I also did not see the gingerbread as a collector item. Though I know it had to go. But to have nothing to build with since the older items still do not stack well makes me sad.
