Thanks goes to Krazy Kim for posting the answer to our question of the day - "What is so special about the new VFK Winter Snow Coat?". Wearing the coat from the History of Christmas Trees Quest enables you to throw snowballs while in snowy rooms. Here is the coat you must be wearing to be able to participate in VFK Snowball fights:

I thought this may be important enough to need its own thread and I figured out a few helpful hints for throwing snowballs.
1. You must be wearing the Winter Snow Coat to throw Snowballs.
2. Make sure you are in a room on VFK with Snow.
3. Hold down the CONTROL key and then click with your mouse where you want the Snowball to go. (Using a Mac? Use the COMMAND key instead of the control key)
4. You will have unlimited Snowballs in rooms with Snow.
5. If you leave a Snowy room and enter a room without Snow, you have 5 Snowballs to use in the "Snow-less" room. Then you must go back to a Snow room to "reload".
Your arms actually move to throw the snowball and I would say you will want your sound turned up becuase the sound effects are great! Happy Snowball throwing! :dance2:

Glad I could help out Princess. :) I think the Christmas Store room also counts as a snow room too cause my friend was having a grand time throwing snowballs in there and I believe it was more then just five of them that she threw.

Is anyone else using a Mac computer? princess uses a Mac ibook G4 laptop and the same instructions using the control key and then clicking with the mouse dose not work on a mac. (it simulates a right click bringing up settings and adobe) She contacted VFK via help but there was no response and also asked a few people throwing snowballs at her but they didn't know either. It does work that way on her PC but the with the PC she gets alot of freezing and lag issues.It's impossible to play VFK using her PC. Any ideas out there?

I went on to see if I could find some help for you and I heard that if you hold command down its just like holding the control button down for us. Its a button with a flower on it. Otherwise you might have the wrong coat on to throw snow with. I hope this helps you out. Ciao! :)

UPDATE: A friend gave me these directions and since I don't have a MAC I put them here word for word. I hope they help you. :)

and u throw snow bells
ok if u want to see arm moving from throw snow bell change your face tone the first on the left then refresh and u see the arm moving
U can throw everywhere in the kingdom only with Q coat!! In rooms where no snow is u can only throw ive snow bells !!"
