VFK History of Christmas Trees Quest!

7:00 AM Pacific Time Sunday, December 14th, 2008 to 10:00 PM Pacific Time Monday, December 15th, 2008.


The evergreen tree and its boughs are traditional symbols of the Christmas season and play a central part in the symbolism and decorations for Christmas. Because these trees with their thin needle leaves stay green all winter, they keep the color of spring and summer in an otherwise wintry world and provide a reminder of the warmer seasons. For our quest today, we will explore the rich and symbolic history of the Christmas tree!
 
You will not want to miss this coat, as there is something special about it!

Your reward for completing this quest will be 1,000 credits, and a Winter Snow Coat!

Woot!  :wavet: Hugs and thanks duck.he! I notice it says we will want this coat, there is something "special" about it. Hmmm...I wonder what it could be...it is called a Winter Snow coat!  :??: :yes!:

Seriously, what is the deal with this coat?!  I couldn't figure anything out either.   :??:   If anyone knows and doesn't want to post, I for one would LOVE a PM on what the big secret is.   :lolg:

Ok, I am not sure if this is it or not, but I have seen people kind of floating or flying with it on like the fairy magic.  This could just of been a bug on my screen though so don't hold me to it.  :)  Maybe if you push the up arrow when wearing it?  Only a hunch cause I have not done the quest yet.

Forget the above post.  :)  I found out the coat lets you throw snowballs!  :)

UPDATE: To throw snowballs click control and then select a spot to throw it with the mouse.

ok.. I got almost all the way through tonight but the lag is sooo horrible that I'm giving up.

maybe I'll try tomorrow.

Or try after hours maybe Coral? The quests can still be done after hours even on the last day of the quest!  :hug: :bighug:

good idea! I'm having trouble finding the outside Main Street.. Isn't Main Street outside already?  :lolg:

Yes, I hate when I have to repeat the thing over and over again when in the right room.  It does that almost every quest at least on one question.  >:[

Hugs Coral, glad you got it finished!  :2thunbs: This quest was really enjoyable, we did it as a family while King was pulling our artificial tree upstairs to put up tonight! And to think, the kids didn't want him to hang it upside down.  :lolg: I learned a few things I did not know about Christmas Trees - very fun and festive quest. Oh, and the coat ROCKS!  :dance2:
