Yesterday was Balloon Ascension Day! On this exciting day, which occurs annually in January, people the world over celebrate balloons of all kinds, especially hot air balloons! Jean Pierre Blanchard originally made history, when he ascended into the skies over the North American Continent, piloting his hydrogen powered balloon! At that moment, he set the date for all future Balloon Ascension Days. On today's quest, let's look at Blanchard's historic Balloon flight!
