Johnny Appleseed's birthday was yesterday on September 26th! This unusual America folk hero was an actual pioneer that became a legend in his own time. We still honor his accomplishments and life's travels with a birthday celebration every year! Johnny Appleseed was a religious man who spent his adult life wandering barefoot year 'round in the wilderness of Ohio, Illinois and Indiana, planting apple trees. On today's quest, let's find out more about the life of Johnny Appleseed!
