I've noticed for some time an Action Panel on the side of screen when you log in. You could close it by clicking on the "x" at the top.
You can also now "remove" this Action Panel from showing up every time you log in by going to: "Menu" - "Options" and unchecking the "Show Action Panel on Login" and Save it.
